*ೃ.⋆ looking out the window, the dark sky signals a start of a heavy downpour. sunoo shoves his airpods in his ears, put his backpack on, and runs down the stairs careful not to miss a step since he's still sleepy from staying up all night. he slides into the kitchen to grab his flask and lunch box that he prepared the night before. then walks to the front door to see that his dad has already prepared his shoes and umbrella.
"are you sure you don't want me to take you to work, sunoo?" his dad says from the living room.
sunoo smile at him, "it's okay, I'm going to meet jungwon halfway," trying to get out the door as fast as he can to beat the rain he hurries the conversation, "thanks for the umbrella dad I'll see you later." And with a goodbye wave, he's swift out the door. he has his flask and lunch box in one hand, in the other hand occupies an umbrella and the bag full of chocolates that he prepared the night before.
sunoo brought heart chocolate boxes that contained special flavored chocolates inside that he wanted to give to his coworkers at the bakery. he needed to put together 7 boxes; 6 for his coworkers and of course 1 for himself. on each box contained a handwritten "to" and "from" tag with their names written nicely in cursive in their favorite colors. he taped kisses chocolates on top with a special strawberry white chocolate mix that tasted delicious. and topped it off with sanrio tuxedosam stickers.
momentarily, he struggles to hold all 4 items in one hand to reach for his phone in his back pocket to put his playlist on shuffle. polaroid love by enhypen plays first. putting him in a better mood for this special valentines day. he walks to work with a big smile on his face and light steps excited to give everyone their individual gift.
after a couple of minutes, sunoo arrives at the tree where he usually meets jungwon, his manager. they live 10 minutes away from each other so they both meet up a lot at this tree even on days they don't work to hang out. the friendship between sunoo and jungwon isn't a typical strict work friendship instead they are best friends who tease each other a lot yet are the most comfortable when around each other. minutes pass by and he gets a little anxious that jungwon already went ahead to work without him or didn't wake up yet. so he decides to text him.
