yasmine met him at his competition way back in 2016 at sm moa arena, where she approached him if he could teach her on figure skating and because of that, they grew closer and closer as they went to ice skating rink everyday.
it was his time to go back to south korea, but it went interesting story before he join in i-land. he asked her if he could cut a lock of her hair which she agreed and when he did he hold the lock of her hair that he cutted off and gave her a ring (but the ring doesn't fit to her, it's like it would fit to her when she's teenager like 15).
he bid her a farewell but before he could walk away, she gave him a large locket necklace and made him wear it. he did a pinky promise that he would put the lock of her hair in the locket necklace as his treasure of his life that he would wear it always until he grew older, just like her, she did a pinky promise that she would wear the ring so he could recognize her when they both grew up.
their final pinky promise is that they'll always find each other.
