"I don't understand what you're saying Taehyung! Speak up!" The man spoke with such a harsh tone, and Taehyung couldn't find his voice. He knew that if he didn't say something soon that the man who angrily stared at him would do unspeakable things to him. "I-I'm not cheating on yo-you with Jungkook. We are just friends." Taehyung said this and the man violently grabbed Tae's forearms squeezing so hard that Taehyung felt as if his arms were about to break. Tears brimmed his eyes as he tried to desperately not let them fall. The man aggressively pulled Taehyung close and whispered in his ear "If I see you talking to him or even texting him I swear I will end you along with him. Now go home." The man let Taehyung go after giving one last squeeze, and Taehyung slowly grabbed his things and left.
————— Taehyung woke up from his dream that constantly replayed every bad thing that happened to him. He hated thinking about him, hated literally everything about him. If it wasn't for him, Taehyung wouldn't be a college drop out with no dreams. It took him two years to pull himself together, and had it not been for his friends, he'd be dead. He remembered it so clearly when he decided to open up to Jin and Jimin, they had that vile man arrested and the authorities helped him get his justice.
Taehyung shook the memory away and grabbed his phone seeing that it was 9:30 pm and he had so many messages. He opened the group chat.
Tae has entered the chat
Jin: Taehyung!!! Where are you!!
Hobi: He probably fell asleep again, he's always sleeping if he's not at work
Yoongi: God I wish I was right now
RM: TAE GET OVER HERE PLS JIMIN IS SINGING ABOUT HOW HE MISSES YOU AND WONT LEAVE ANYONE ALONE
Jin: PLS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
Tae: YOU BITCHES NEED TO SHUT UP IM ON MY WAY NOW be there in 20 :p
Jimin: See you bestie!! Love you
Tae: LEAVE THEIR GAY ASSES ALONE JIMIN GO BOTHER YOONGI AND HOBI
Taehyung clicked his phone off and began to get ready. He knew that everyone would be dressed nice, so he picked out his favorite outfit and quickly put it on. He fixed his hair and then looked in the mirror and smiled at himself.

He then grabbed his things and made his way to Jin's apartment. ————— Once he reached Jin's apartment, he opened the door and walked in.
"Hey bitches." He said casually and immediately was engulfed in a hug from Jimin. "Taehyungieeee!!" He said sweetly and Taehyung pushed him away. "What have you been drinking Jimin?" He asked looking at Jimin who was currently trying to hug Tae again. "Uhm I think Yoongi brought peach schnapps so I think it was that?" Jimin was definitely drunk and clueless. "YOONGI COME GET YOUR OTHER MANS!" Jimin then stopped and went to go dance with Hoseok instead. Taehyung made his way over to Jin, Namjoon, and Jungkook who were lost in a conversation about how scary dolphins were. "They literally attack sharks for no reason when humans aren't around. That's terrifying." Namjoon stated this and Jungkook cackled. Taehyung looked at the two as if they were weird, but decided to sit down nonetheless.
"Dude if you heard yourself right now, you'd call yourself a wimp." Taehyung said and Jungkook immediately fist bumped him. Namjoon stood up acting offended, but was only using it as a chance to go talk to Jin which left Taehyung and Jungkook alone. Taehyung heard Jungkook clear his throat, and he looked over at the younger man. Jungkook awkwardly smiled at him and Taehyung felt like nothing between them would ever be the same. He then decided a little bit of liquid courage might help him. "I'm gonna go get a drink, you want anything?" Jungkook made eye contact with Taehyung and shook his head giving the older another smile.
Taehyung was so determined to make things the same, but what he didn't know was that things would never be the same. There were too many repressed feelings and his and Jungkook's journey together was just getting started.
