(A/N: Sorry, I meant to have this chapter out a few days ago but couldn't. I hope you enjoy!)
Rumi POV
I was looking at the form I was filling out. It was mostly complete already but I was just questioning my decision to do this. "Hey Ryu, you think this is okay?"
Ryuko looked over at the laptop and then at me. "Looks okay to me, Mimi."
"No, I mean requesting her to work under me? You think it'll be fine?"
Ryuko chuckled and laid her head on my shoulder. "I'm sure everything will work out fine. Besides, if she doesn't want to work under you, she can just go with someone else."
I sighed. "Yeah, you're right. I mean someone needs to kick her ass into shape and All Might doesn't seem to be close to doing that!" I grew my wicked smile and Ryuko smiled at me.
"You look so cute when you smile like that."
I immediately blushed, looking over at Ryuko. "H-Hey, you can't just say something like that to a girl!"
Ryuko rested her head in her hand. "I can when I'm dating her." She gave me a quick peck on my cheek. "Especially if it's true."

Izuku POV
I was at the mall with most of my class. The only ones that didn't were Tokoyami and Aoyama, who didn't come for their own reasons. We all walked in the main entrance and began to separate into groups.
I was walking with Kaina, headed to the game store. "So... you like games?" I asked, showing off my amazing social skills.
She chuckled. "Yeah, games are fun. What kind do you like, I~zu~ku~?"
I couldn't help but blush as she said my name like that. "I-I mostly like fighter games. Th-Though open world rpgs a-are fun too. What a-about you?"
She shrugged. "I prefer shooters." I wasn't surprised to hear that. "What game are you picking up?" She asked as we arrived at the game store.
"I-It's a new nintendo game." We walked in and began looking around.

Izumi POV
I was walking through the mall, trying to find a specific store. "Come on, where is it?"
"You sure it's in this mall?" Shoka asked.
"Yeah. It's just been a while since I've been to it." I saw the store and ran up to it. "Here it is." Walking in, I began looking around.
"So... you're getting Izuku a c-"
"Shh, he has really good hearing, Katsumi. I don't know how far he is so don't say it." Suddenly, my nose caught something. "Perfect."

Izuku POV
After the game store, we headed to a cafe. I was feeling nervous since this is the first time I've ever done something like this. 'Ah man, what if I saw something dumb?!'
Getting our seats, I was fiddling with my fingers. "Uh, sooo..." I was looking down at my hands.
Looking up, I saw Kaina was looking at me smiling. "You know, you're cute when you're nervous."
I felt my face begin to heat up. I didn't even know if I could blush but today was definitely gonna be the day I would find out. "S-sorry. I've just... never done something like this before."
Kaina looked at me, slightly surprised. "Really? I would have thought the girls would have been all over you in high school."
I began scratching the back of my head. "Heh, no. Most people were just scared of me. They'd see me and scream monster." The memories of the times I tried to make a friend only for them to run away, screaming, began playing in my mind.
"Well, those assholes don't know what they're missing out on." She reached out and started scratching me under my chin and... it felt way better than it had any right to. "Ara ara~, does someone like that?"
"N-no." I felt my tail wagging as Kaina watched it. 'Damn you traitor!'
"Aww, you're just a big ol' softy. Yeah. Just a big softy with a mean appearance." I felt people watching but I couldn't pull myself away. Then I felt a noise coming from my throat. "Oh and you purr. You're just full of surprise~."
Thankfully, my savior came in the form of our drinks being set down in front of us. Kaina's hand left my chin for a second and I immediately pulled my head away, taking sips from my hot chocolate.
She was smiling at me and I couldn't help but smile behind my cup. "So Izuku, tell me about your quirk."
"Well, obviously you know that I can increase my strength. But the longer I'm in that state, the stronger I get. But if I'm in it too long, I end up stuck unconscious for days."
Kaina nodded. "Yeah, I remember that."
"Yeah. When that first happened, I was asleep for a week." Kaina chuckled, causing me to as well. "And with my body's extreme heat," I put my hand over my hot chocolate, "I can also focus it through a single point, increasing the effect." I removed my hand from the top of my cup, a new flow of steam coming off the top. "I also don't need to worry about the temperature of any food or drinks because of it." I took a sip of the scolding hot chocolate
"Hm. So does spicy food do something?"
"No, not really. It takes something really spicy to have any real effect. Anyways, the more intense the fight, the hotter my body gets."
Kaina nodded, thinking. "So when you were fighting that Nomu thing, you seemed like you were bidding for time. Why?"
"Heh, well, when so much time takes place when I use my quirk's strength, I eventually get to a point where everything starts to slow down. But that's also the point where I fall unconscious after I stop using it. And after the minute I was in it at the USJ, I was out for over a day."
"Mmm." She began drinking her tea. "Interesting."
We sat there in silence. My mind began to race, thinking that I'm doing something wrong.
"Izuku." I jumped a bit, brought back out of my thoughts suddenly. "Why did you ask me to come here with you?"
I took a deep breath. "Kaina, I really like you. You were my first real friend I've had. And... and I've felt these feelings for you beginning to grow stronger every day. This... probably sounds really cheesy." I closed my eyes and rubbed the back of my head.
But then I felt a hand land on top of my other hand that was sitting on top of the table causing me to open my eyes again. "Izuku. I know you've had a hard time with life. But you didn't let that stop you. You kept on fighting for your dream. It's honestly inspiring. You're nervous and goofy. But you're also strong and confident. Not to mention adorable." I felt my face heat up again. "And that's part of the reason why I've grown feelings for you."
She leaned over the table and kissed my cheek. "K-Kaina..."
"We'll work out the details later. But for now, let's just have some fun and don't be afraid to be yourself." I stared at her. The genuine look in her eyes. I smiled and nodded. We began talking about whatever came to mind and for the first time, I didn't feel like I was afraid of saying something stupid.
