Agent Shephard, and Officer Roberts became confused by the presents of the preacher, as he was standing next to Slash. Of course, Agent Shephard was the only one who recognized the preachers voice from the radio.
"Wait a minute, aren't you the preacher who called that radio station?" Shephard asked. "Wow, old timer," Slash answered. "Who knew you would be rolling like a celebrity tonight, from basically not just the media in these parts." "It is true," the preacher said. "I am the exact man you have just heard on that news cast you just heard."
Amber Rose arrived just after the preacher explained where he came from, and revealed a rolled up piece of paper. "Boss, this was found in front of the entrance, after the vehicles outside were destroyed," Amber said. "I think it might be a solution to getting your revenge." Slash took the rolled up piece of paper, and removed the rubber band that was holding it together to see what it said after he opened it. The second Slash opened it, he noticed, and read what it said.
"To all fans of racing, and destruction," Slash read. "Come see Calypso's new Twisted Metal, and get your hopes, and dreams granted hosted as usual by Calypso himself. Whatever you desire, he will grant it. Competition begins August 1st, 6:00 P.M sharp." Slash burned the flier with his head, after finding out about the competition. "So, Calypso thinks he can get rid of me, by just hosting another Twisted Metal?" Slash asked. "Well I'm not buying it. I say, what he's trying to pull is the same trap my father went for."
"Yes, it might be a trap," the preacher agreed. "However, I might have a theory based on whether you win, or lose." "What are you saying, old man?" Slash asked. "I believe this could be your chance to free all of those captive people that Calypso has taken to his asylum that you freed me from, and even get your revenge for what Calypso did," the preacher answered. "With Calypso gone, you would be able to have everyone free, and your father's death would be avenged." Slash thought about it, and decided on what the preacher explained to him. "Alright," Slash explained. "But if I'm gonna do this, I need to make sure I win."
