I slowly walks into the kitchen to make myself a bowl of Fruit Loops cereal.
Scooby Beagle trots up to me. I glance down at him and small smiles.
"Hi, Scooby Beagle." I greeted my little buddy, pouring some milk into my cereal.
A gentle knock on the door. I take a quick bite out of my Fruit Loops cereal and walks over to the door and opens it.
Christine Avery is there. "Hi, Sweetums." She greeted me with a small smile.
"Hey, Christine." I greeted her back. She slowly walks inside the living room and I closes the door behind her. "How are you?"
"I'm good." Christine Avery replied. "And I also grew out my hair."
"Yeah, I can see that." I said with a small smile, admiring Christine Avery's long straight hair, and sits down beside her on the three seat sofa. "Have you had any nightmares?"
"About Eleanor Reese? Yeah." Christine said to me, and becomes worried. "I don't want to be like her, Violet. Sure, she and I are twins, but there's a 55% chance that I may be a sociopath."
"You won't." I tell her. "You have best friends now. You have me and the guys."
"You have a good spirit, Vinny. I can sense it with my wizard magic." Christine said to me. "But I can also a darkness in you as well."
"Yeah." I said.
My phone buzzes in my silk robe pocket. I pulls out my phone and looks at it.
Craig
"It's Craig." I said, glancing at Christine, and answers my phone. "Hey, Craig. What's up?"
"There's a body in the Arrington Morgue." Craig informed me on the phone.
"Okay, on my way." I said to him, and hangs up my phone. I glance at Christine. "I'll meet you there at the Woodland Woods."
"Okay." Christine Avery said, getting up and walking away.
