(Marcos POV)

I've been watching him, Vesper I mean. His gorgeous dark eyes, they pierce right threw you..it's mesmerizing. I've been asking Natalya and Egan about him, but they refuse to tell me anything, like he's dangerous..so I'm gonna see if I can get him to talk to me today, instead of giving me a soft looks and walking away.

* * *

The drive was boring, as plain as as usual, I pull up to the dark building, parking beside all the other ancient cars. Not like I'm complaining, just still confused on why we are still stuck in 1950. I check my phone to remind myself what day it is, November 15th, a Friday, I slide my phone in my pocket, getting out of the car, I see a Limo pull up to the front of the school. And there he is....getting out Of the limo, Vesper. His heads down, black hair draped over his pale skin, he looked sad..No, like he was exhausted, he looked so drained.. I feel bad for him.

I lock the car and start walking towards the building.

I'm almost to the door, when Egan runs up to me. "Ugh, I hate evening classes." She sighs, her ginger hair falling out of place. "Boo hoo" I respond mockingly. He reach the school doors, and I hold it open for her, she thanks me and we walk in. Natalya catches up to us as we head to our lockers, and I see Vesper. I stare at him and he gets its books Forgetting to close my locker, Natalya closes it and my attention is immediately brought back to her. "What are you looking at?" She says as she peeks around me, as soon as she sees Vesper, her posture changes, like how a little kid would if they saw something scary.

He. Looks at her, his still face expression. He closes his locker and walks away, and I fight the urge to chase after him. "Marcos." I turn around, and identify the vice as Egan. Natalya looks like she's frozen in time. "Huh?" I question her serious look. "D-do you talk to him..?" Natalya asks. "I have-"

"Don't."

She cuts me off, I give her a glare and she looks back up at me. "What's the problem with him.?" I question.

"Haven't you heard? He's apparently a freak, and not in the Okay kind. He's always alone and quiet, and he's so pale.."Natalya starts her ramble and I roll my eyes. "Have you talked to him?" She straightens herself. "No we have not, well Egan has."

And there's the bell.

"Break?" I ask and they nod. I then head to my first class, Chemistry, Vespers also Is in that class.

Heading down the busy hallways is always a mess, that's what I've figured out, atleast. I push threw the human traffic and reach the class, pushing my way threw the doors, I meet eyes with a certain someone. Vesper.

I give him a quick smile, he doesn't return it. I take my seat on the opposite side of the class, and the lesson begins.

Turns out, we are gonna be working with partners, in a way to design a experiment to test a food item without altering it to the point it's not edible. Seems easy, plus the instructor paired me with Vesper.

I get up and walk to his desk as he's putting up his hair, it shines quite bright for being such a Matt black. He slicks it back into a pony tail, and the rest neatly falls onto his shoulders. "Hey." I lean against his desk, he only nods back. I shrug, and ask him a few things, like what he wants to do. Time passes by rather quickly, and I become fascinated with listening to his soothing deep voice, and I even find out he's quite big in studying and reading. I check the time and find we only have about 10 minutes left, and I decide to take my chances.
