  (Vespers POV)

I had managed to drag myself to this raggedy place, Again. I had gotten a ride here from Xina, one of our maids. I walk into the dungeon doors and walk to my locker '415' I enter my code and get my things for Music and Math, then close the door. I begin to walk away until I feels eyes of me, unusual ones. I look back to see the new boy, he's been around Egan and Natalya I believe. He doesn't seem to be looking, so I turn my head and start to head to class. He's in my music class, although he seems to be slightly dumb on the topic. He is Farley tall, over 6ft for sure. I snap out of my thoughts when I reach the door, I push open the large doors and walk in.

I take my usual seat in the very back left corner, setting my bag down on the floor. I'm right by a window, so I usually study the gloomy forest, on rare occasions I would see an animal run out or other of the sorts, but not today.
I bring my eyes back to the front as I hear the teacher walk in. Class passes by rather slowly I find, I tend to study my peers until my eyes get stuck on that boy, the one from earlier. He has beautiful clear tan skin, His curly coca hair is parted neatly down the middle and lies on both of his broad shoulders. He is quite beautiful. Ah, Vesper. What are you thinking?

I notice him shift in his chair, his head now resting in his palm. He seems genuinely curious in our lesson, he turns his head and catch's my eyes. I turn my head quickly, before he can notice my previous gaze on him. Once class ends I try and take longer then I usually do, to get out of class last. I throw my bag over my shoulders and begin to walk to my next class, I notice the boy talking to the teacher, Mr. Odile. I brush it off and continue walking.

My next class goes by rather quickly, near the end, the last 5-10 minutes I'd say I go to the washroom. I lock myself in a stall and take some of the Thirst suppressants. I'm still not entirely used to being around human blood flow, and can't risk anything. I took a mouthful of water and swallowed, then I sat there for a bit waiting for them to kick in. I walk out and go back to class, just in time to be dismissed by the bell. We get two breaks usually, to share in between 6 classes, A break in between every two. Most get here by 8-9pm and end by 1am, usual classes are 45 minutes some are less some are more. Every break lasts 15-25 minutes, I'd usually go back to the music room, although classes are in my first break so I can only go in the second.

The darkness tends to fill the place, moonlight seems dimmed  at most times. So most of the students will wander the halls or hangout in the alleys of dorms or other building halls, the odd group will chat or smoke outside. I walk to the library and sit down in a corner at the back end, where it's usually pretty empty. Pulling out my newest read, a love story in a thriller plot, called  'knife to throat, blood to heart.' I begin to read to pass the time. I hear foot steps and smell an unpleasant sent approaching, and my eyes shoot up from the pages to be greeted with the same shiny dress
shoes. My eyes dart up to see some unpleasant faces, other vampires.

Lestat and Erik.

"Well, well what do we have here?" Lestat smirks and he kicks the book out of my hands, I glare at them. Just ignore them, vesper.

"How's your 'drinking' going?"

"You too afraid to hunt?"

"I don't get why Sir turned you. He should've just killed you."

"Mistake of a vampire."

"Vampire? Please, he's more of a human. Even his scent reaks."

Then Erik bends down, and grabs my wrist, pulling me to my feet. "Speaking of biting." He smirks, as he rolls my sleeve up, I wince, trying to pull my arm away. I turn my head, and then they laugh. I can hear their pitiful voices.
"Wow. So afraid to hunt, you have to bite yourself?" Lestat laughs. And Erik drops my arm, bringing his knee to my gut. My arms fly to my stomach, crouching over coughing. Then I feel A hand grasp a handful of my hair, I look up to see Erik. "Fucking weirdo. Your gonna end up dead." He shrugs as he lets go of my hair, pushing me down by my shoulders. My small body collapsed on the floor, and all I hear is the sound of shoes, tapping on the wooden floors. Getting farther. And farther....and farther....farther.

Untill their gone.

I lie there, not wanting to get up. I close my eyes, wishing for it all to just fade. Why can't I just turn back? Or die, it's not like Sir has a need for me. Why do I have to be in the Vampire executive? I don't want to have 'victims', to kill innocent civilians, that have family's,lovers, friends. The humans are right. Vampires are the dark of the world...
I curl my fingers in my hair. Resisting the urge for blood, I don't need it, right? No, I don't. Curling in on myself a little more, I lie there. Alone.

All to just go back, in a few hours. Repeat. It's not like I need sleep, it's not like I need to eat 'food'. Water, either. Basic human necessities don't apply to me, a so called blessing to some. I let out a small groan, my pain intolerance insanely high, but vampires can pack a punch. My stomach definitely feels like it could just collapse, close in on itself. I grasp my hair tighter, wishing I could have shriveled up and turned into a.....worm..or something. Anything, except this pitiful creature...I pull at my hair a little, just realizing my hair tie is now gone. No longer neatly tied back... I let out a choked sob.

"Are you okay..?"

My eyes Shoot open, I look up. That boy. From earlier, the one with the brunette hair, Marcos? I think. Untangling my hands from my hair, I push myself up with my elbow, pulling down my blazer sleeve in the process. I look up at him, my black hair falling over my face, I sit up. His worried expression plastered all over his face, his dark eyebrows slanted, his Chocolate eyes glazed with a shine, and his lips...

Snap out of it.

He walks over to me, and I feel like I'm shrinking in his presence, then he crouches. His expression going from worried to curious, he waves a hand in front of my face. "Hey? You alright..?" He questions.
"Y-Yeah. Sorry." I look at him in the eyes, and everything stills..it's just us. His hand drops beside his side and he stands, reality returns. Then he holds out a hand to help me up. I stand, my legs a little shaky. "This yours?" And outstretched hand comes towards me, holding the book I was reading. I nod, taking it from him. "Thanks." I whisper. "No problem. Can I have your name? I'm Marcos by the way ." He smiles brightly at me, my eyes dart around the room, looking anywhere but at him. "It's Vesper." I mumble, keeping quiet. "Gotta go." I say as I begin walking, as I find my way out of the library I hear him say something.

"Vesper, huh. Thats unique, I like it."
