'How long does she has to stay here?' Amy whispered.
'I don't know, I'll ask the doctor.' Mom answered.
'I will do it. Stay at Lisa.' Dad said.
Dad was going to leave the room, but a doctor already came in.
'Hello. You're the Cimorellis, right?' he asked.
'Yes. What's wrong with our daughter?' Dad asked.
'She's in pain. She got diabetes and she didn't eat. It's dangerous. And specially for her. It's totally new for her body. The insulin and everything else. The stomach reacted negative to the insulin because she has a totally empty stomach. Her body couldn't connect to the insulin. Now, we need to watch her. She needs to reconnect with food. Slowly.' the doctor said.
'Ohhh! How long does she need to stay here?' Mom whispered.
'I'm not sure. Depends on her stomach.' he answered.
Mom stood up and went out with the girls.
'Mom, I don't want to perform without Lisa.' Lauren said.
'No Mom... All of us or nobody of us.' Dani said.
'Girls, you need to perform. It's important. I'm pretty sure Lisa is proud of you. And maybe she's already able to perform again then.' Mom said carefully.
'But, it's not easy! Lisa is our sister and we love her. She's one of us. It feels bad to perform and act happy when she's in pain!' Christina started yelling and was in tears. They all got tears and Mom tried to stop this. Christina ran away and took her phone. Nick. She needed him. She typed the number and waited. It had to be around 9am in America. Oh, she realized this and remembered that Nick was working now. She texted him, he should stop working and should better call her. She recorded voice messages and took pictures, but he didn't answer. Christina didn't know why she went so emotional. She was wondering but couldn't understand. She waited on a bench right there. She wasn't able to go back. The others wondered what happened to her. Christina was the strongest of all and did never really cry since Lisa got diabetes. She tried to be strong for her family, but the others did never really realize that. While they were outside, Lisa woke up and got a treatment from the doctor. She already tried to stand up again. She could walk a few steps with help from the nice man. Lisa stopped at the window and spotted Christina on the bench.
'Dad, there's Christina...' she said.
'What?' Dad answered and went to the window.
'Text her please, Dad... she should look at the window.' Lisa continued.
Dad took his phone and texted her. Of course she took her phone fastly, she thought it was Nick. She moved her head and spotted Lisa on the window. Lisa tried to smile and waved her hand slowly. Lisa looked worried about her. Christina waved back and got an anxious smile. What if Lisa is breaking the next moment? Christina thought of this and moved her head. No, she wasn't able to see this. Lisa wondered and went back to her bed. It was hard to stand. Her body totally lost the strength. Nobody could see it, but it hurt Lisa a bit that Christina looked away.
