Have you ever thought about what it would be like to tell your parents that you were part of the LGBTQ+ famaly for most people that's not bad...well for me it was a living nightmare. Let me take you back a few of months...
At the time I was a 13 year-old girl that just found out that's shes lesbian that would be ok but I HAVE HOMAPHOBIC PARENTS and I was going to come out one day in the car and ofc I was easing that subject into the conversation and my mom pipes up and says that if I was ever in the LGBTQ+ community she would have to disown me and my father was like "OMG YES" laughing his ass off So at that point I looked shook and then my dad looked me dead in the eye and said "You're not gay right!?!?!?" So in my mind I was like "OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT!!!!!!FUCKKKKKK!!! THIS CAN NOT BE HAPPANIG!!" and I just sat there for what felt like an eternity and then I snap back to reality when my dad said "Well?" So I played it off like nothing and got off that topic as soon as possible So at that point I'm like well i'm fucked.
A few days later I was in my room texting my girlfrind and befor you ask YES I HAVE GAME wen my mom barged in unannounced and I say "Why didn't you knock I have a sign on my door oh my God you are so annoying" But I only say that in my head so I can only hear it and instead I actually say out loud "What?" And then my mother says and I quote "Don't give me that attitude Missy I'll slap it right out of you" So at that point I'm like "Ok ok I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I won't do it again. Sooo.. what are you in hear for?" And she responds with "I was at the coffee shop down the street and you know that boy that's around your age that always takes our order" "Yes mom?" I sad "Well he happened to be my barista today and I was talking to him and he said he was single and thought you were very cute so.....I set up a date for you too tomorrow at 6:30 and hear is his number" with a big ass smile on her face like I am not even kidding you that smile went from ear to ear. Then my phone started going off rapidly and my mom asked me who I was texting is it a boy? And then get this this woman had the audacity to pick up my phone and try to look who was texting... THANK GOD I am smart and had the contact name as Jason like who the fuck is Jason And then she yeld down to my dad "BOB DID YOU KNOW THAT JJ AS A BOYFRIEND AND IS SAYING CANT WHAT TO SEE YOU" and then I immediately snapped back "no that's my best friend". Like miss mam you don't need to yell that across the house like that #1 is that the other kids are asleep (or should be) because it's 11:48 PM like SHHH!! and 2 Even if thos kids weren't are awake they are now and the LOVE to blab my business to all of there friends and even people we don't know like WTH.
