My journey Chapter 2 The Date

So now i'm getting ready to head over to the coffee shop and my mom yells up "hurry up you're going to be late" so I look at the time real fast and it is 6:15. I'm on my way over to the coffee shop now, and I am getting stressed out because I have no clue what I'm going to tell this boy that thinks I'm cute and explain my situation and wondering if my mom is going to stay at the coffee shop with us....."Mom are you going to stay with us at the shop? I asked she replied with "of course not I want you to be able to talk freely" That's a relief if I thought to myself.
*At the shop*
My mom just Dropped me off at the front door and handed me $15 and said have fun I will pick you up at 8:30 (By the way it's 6:32) "Welp let's get this over with" I said in my head. As I walked in I saw him sitting at the table so I walked over said hello and we started to chit chat like old friends I actually had a really good time we had so much in common we started talking about what's sports we like to play, he likes to play baseball and I like to play softball, we bonded very quickly but I thought we were bonding as in friends But he thought it was a spark. At about 7:15 he says "I really like you" and tries to leen in for a kiss and I say "Sorry I don't like you like that" So he asks was it somthing he did or just he's appearance if he just wasn't funny enough so I half breakdown and tell him that I am lesbian and my parents are homophobic and they put me on this date against my will but I hade a amazing time and I really hope we could be friends. So he apologizes profusely and says "I understand completely I am so sorry you have to go through this" So for the rest of the time we just talk about what kind of girls were into and we have similar taste and I brought up that I have a girlfriend and her name is Jackie and we have been dating for 3 months and then get this, this James asked what her last name was and I told him "Patterson" and he looked shocked I asked him what was wrong He said "That's my twin sister show me a pictures so I know for sure this is a big town after all" So I did...... and guess what it was his sister AHHHHHH!!!!! So now that's going to be awkward I glance over at the clock off the wall and it says 8:39 and I look at my phone and my mom sent me a text 10 minutes ago to get outside she is waiting in the car. So I pay for my stuff and say goodbye and how we had a great time and we part ways.
*In the car on the ride home*
I get in the car and my mom asks me "What took you so long I sent you a text 10 minutes ago" and I say "Sorry I lost track of time and-" she cut me off "DO YOU LIKE HIM, ARE YOU DATING -"I interrupted "MOM stop I don't like him" "Awwwww that's a shame he is so handsome" my mom said, I grown and rolled my eyes.
*At home*
I was just about to walk in the house and then my dad met me outside and said "Hey Jj there was someone here I think she said her name is Jackie and she's in your room waiting for you. She says she has something extremely important she needs to talk to you about." So at that point I'm like why it's Jackie here. The only time Jackie ever comes here is when my parents are asleep or at work and I sneak her through my window. So I go up to my room and there is Jackie standing there. I close my door and run to her to give her a hug and kiss and then ask her "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HEAR YOU KNOW MY PARENTS ARE HOMAPHOBIC THEY CAN KNOW ABOUT US?!" "I know i'm sorry I just need to talk to you" Jackie said.
