{Third person pov}

It was a Monday morning, pretty normal. Edd was making breakfast, Matt was watching Edd cook (mainly because he knew he would get food scraps)
Tom was still sleeping, tord has kept himself locked up in his bedroom(still), and dreamer was also still sleeping.

Pretty normal day, right? Wrong.

Dreamer is supposed to be awake by now..
This worried edd

{Edds pov}

I noticed how dreamer wasn't up yet..hes always up at 9:30am..

"Hey Matt?"

Matt just hummed in response- I think he might be mesmerized by something. Heh,classic Matt.

"..have you noticed that dreamer isn't up yet..?"

"Huh whuh?- sorry were you talking to me?-"

I'd sigh softly. He was definitely in some sort of trance or something- probably zoned out.

"Never mind. I'll go check on him."

"Oh- okay! I'll make sure the food doesn't burn-"

"Matt Don't eat the food please."

"How'd you-"

"Your literally my best friend, Matt. Ik you like the back of my hand." I'd laugh softly and walk away, basically just leaving the ginger boi confused which is always funny.

"Dreamer..?..you in there..?"

.

.

.

No response.

I started to get very worried now..SO I DROPKICKED THE DOOR DOWN- it didn't really work, but I somehow broke the lock sooooo-

I walk into dreamers bedroom after uh..definitely not breaking the door-

And he's sleeping on the floor for some reason-

"..."

I get closer and shake him gently,basically checking if he's still breathing.

"Dreamer...? Are you...alive?-"

He suddenly disappeared..which wasn't very strange since he does that often while sleeping, so I think he's still fine. His crystal was still glowing too so yea, he's definitely fine.

{Dreamers pov (third person) }

He had teleport himself to the forest
((A/N: like in my last fanfic- I don't really recommend reading it, it's cringe lol))

He was having a nightmare,but he suddenly jolted awake at the feeling that he wasn't in his original surroundings anymore.

((A/N: oh yeah, I'mma be putting ciggs in this btw, also yes, ciggs is taller than dreamer but dreamers older than ciggs by a year. Idk why I told u this but I felt like it was important lol))

He'd flinch slightly, feeling an unfamiliar presence around him. His tail curled up around him tightly, his ears going flat.

He'd jolt up hearing heavy wings flapping above him,he'd go silent and scoot over to the nearest tree, hiding behind it. Trying to avoid being seen.

He heard the flapping getting closer and closer,until the mysterious person suddenly landed.
((A/N: I mean they ain't that mysterious since I literally just announced them but yea))

{Ciggs's pov}

I was heading toward a place to get something to eat for myself when I suddenly saw someone in the forest..they seemed scared and alone, so I went to check up and see what was going on.

((Side note: for whoever ik IRL is reading this, this is basically just an AU where ciggs and dreamer haven't met yet, just to clarify.))

I saw what seemed to be a little fox bean scurry away and hide behind a tree as I landed.

I wasn't too worried about that because it's pretty easy for me to find people, so I teleported to wherever the person was which seemed to scare them quite abit.

They were screaming-

"Uhh, hey- there's no need to be scared. I won't bite!" I laughed softly.
I held out my hand to the terrified bean,hoping they'll take the kind gesture..which they did.

"Right, now that, that's done and dealt with, I'm ciggs! What's your name?" I said excited, grinning widely as I held onto the beans hand which they seemed to not want to let go of.

"Uhm..im dreamer.." They said softly, seemed like the bloke had some sort of accent. Cool!

"Well nice to meet ya, dreamer! Also cool accent!"

They seemed embarrassed by the complement, which I found funny. They held my hand tighter, they were also quite fidgety..

"..hey, mate.. Are ya alright?"

"O-oh..yeah I'm fine...im just...- nevermind.."

"No, no, tell me. I'm listening."

I crouched down and held out my other hand,basically trying to comfort them.

((A/N: btw, ciggs is Aussie if u couldn't tell lol-
I watched Mary Poppins (both movies) too many times, yes ik they aren't Aussie but still-))

{Dreamers pov}

I don't know why but..something about them made me feel safe..so I just fell into their arms, tensing up slightly though since I'm not really used to being hugged

Their wings suddenly folded around me..thats when I started to feel...lighter?

All of my emotions were mixed up, and jumbled up in a ball.

But I felt safe..and, happy..?-
I dunno man,this is quite new to me.

My tail curled around ciggs gently,and I started softly purring which made them giggle.

"Oh my god, your purring! Yep your my new best friend."

"Oh- okay-"

So I guess my their new best friend now..
