The night passed quickly and Cassiel was an eager puppy waiting to be fed. He couldn't wait for the adventure, even my usual cool, calm and collected older sister Ariel seemed hyped for this trip. And neither of them even knew what was happening.
"You have the bag?" I asked.
"Yes. All the knives and sheaths, the roses, the portable chargers, the wallets with Koro-sensei paper, and some clothes to change into," Ariel replied, checking it off on her fingers.
"Good. Cassiel, Ariel, hang onto my shoulders and prepare for the biggest shock and thrill of your life," I said with a smile as I thought of seeing E class again. I held out a piece of Koro-sensei paper in front of me and flashed a confident grin at Ariel and Cassiel. "Koro-sensei!" I shouted.
One brilliant flash of white later, and I heard BB guns firing. I opened ym eyes and saw them all coming straight at me, Cassiel, and Ariel.
"Cease fire!" Koro-sensei shouted, moving in front of us at Mach 20 to shield us.
"Ashnah!" Nagisa's voice shouted. I looked up and saw him running towards us. "You're back!"
"Yeah. I know. Do you know where Karma is? I need to talk with him," I said quietly. "And if you don't mind, please explain this all to them. These are my older siblings, Cassiel and Ariel. This is Nagisa. You can trust him."
"Sorry, Ashnah. I don't know where Karma is," Nagisa said. "But if you want, we can all split up and go find him. I know he's somewhere on the mountain. If we all look, we'll be able to find him in an hour or two."
"No. It's fine. I think I know where he is," I said, standing up on my feet. "Cassiel, Ariel, stay here and don't go anywhere until I come back and give you the clear, alright?"
"Where the hell are we?" Ariel muttered.
"Like I said. Nagisa will explain it all to you. Maybe Sugino can help?" I asked.
"Sure," Sugino replied. "I can explain it all with Nagisa. Go find Karma. He's been messed up more than usual since he came back." I nodded and grabbed the bag we brought with us, running to the cliffside, slowing to a walk as I spotted Karma sitting on the tree trunk again, twirling a nearly dead rose in his fingers.
"Go away, Nagisa. I already told you, I don't want to talk," Karma said, not even bothering to look this way. I kept walking forwards and pulled out another new rose from the bag and walked behind him, wrapping my arms around his neck as I held it out before him.
"I think you need a new one," I said quietly. Karma turned to face me, his expression still not changing. He still looks so sad. Truthfully, it makes me want to cry.
"Ashnah?" Karma muttered. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to see you. I want to know something, Karma. Why'd you leave?" I asked, stepping back as he stood up and sat down in the dirt, his eyes downcast.
"Anson was right. You shouldn't be friends with me. You're a billionaire and I have nothing to offer you. I don't get why you even put up with me for that long. I don't belong with you, and he was right. I'm a mere peasant, and it's affecting you. You should be able to live a happy life with someone of the same rank as you. You should leave. Go back and talk with Anson," Karma said softly. "We're not right for each other."
"Karma," I said, determination sounding in my voice. "Look up and face me. Do I look like someone who cares about ranks and wealth? You know fully well you're the one I like, dammit, Karma. And I know you still like me. Nagisa said you never let go of that rose. Now, get over here and kiss me. We're spending the next few months here together, and you're not going to argue. And if you don't kiss me, I'll do it fir-."
He cut me off with his lips as he pressed them to mine, his hands pressing down on mine as his eyes shut and he completely relaxed against me. I felt his lips carve into a smile against mine and I smiled to.
"I told you." I smirked against his lip and he pulled away.
"Kash!" a bunch of voices shouted. "Kash! Kash! Kash!"
"Why are they shouting Kash?" Karma asked. "Did you do something?"
"No," I said. I spotted Cassiel and Ariel grinning at the two of us as E class ran out from the trees.
"I knew you two would work things out," Koro-sensei said, wiping a tear from his eye. "I shipped you from the beginning."
"Kash is a ship name," I told Karma. "It's a combination of the two of our names together because we're dating, right?"
"Yeah. Dating," Karma repeated. "I'm sorry for running out on you."
"People say to focus on the present and future and to not dwell on the past," I said. "I forgave you as soon as I saw you."
"You did it!" E class shouted at us as we rose to our feet grinning like idiots.
Cassiel and Ariel came forwards, messing up our hair with laughs.
"Nice job, Ash," Ariel complimented.
"You landed yourself a very, very impressive lady. Treat her right or I'll end you," Cassiel said, scowling at Karma, his mood changing in a second.
"Oh, right! Karma. I have something for you," I said, rummaging through the bag I had brought for the knives. I pulled out a sleek silver one weighted similarly to the anti-sensei knives he trains with.
"Oh, thanks," Karma said. "I appreciate it. I can use this to torture some other kids too. Maybe scare them till they shit their asses."
"Language, Karma," Koro-sensei lectured. Karma stuck his tongue out and raised his gun lazily, firing off a few shots at Koro-sensei, causing him to shout and dance around as he avoided the BBs.
"Karma!" Koro-sensei said as he jumped around."Why right now?!"
"Maybe I'm just in the mood," Karma shrugged, continuing to fire off shots, causing half of Koro-sensei's face to explode in yellow goo. Only when this happened did he finally stop.
"You better take her out on a nice date fit for a billionaire," Cassiel scowled at Karma.
"No need. She doesn't need those things. All she needs is a kiss, a smile, and a place to sleep," Karma said, grinning wickedly at Cassiel as he turned bright red. "You didn't believe that, did you? No, no. What Ashnah needs is love and friends to help her. As for the date situation, I'd say that's already happened unofficially."
"Whose idea was it to spy on us?" I said with a glare at E class. All fingers pointed at Koro-sensei. I held my hand out to Karma and he placed a BB gun in it. I lifted it up and aimed, taking a shot at Koro-sensei.
"It's rude to spy on people," I mused, pulling the trigger as I kept pace with his movements, predicting how he would move and which direction. I put a hole in his head and cut off two tentacles before the rest of the class joined in, all of us laughing and having fun together.
"Very nice shot, Sugino," Koro-sensei said. "Those were impressive skills you've shown me just now, Ashnah. I have a feeling you'll become much more skilled in the near future."
"Perhaps," I smiled, pulling the trigger again before Koro-sensei bolted from all of us, leaving us here laughing. Even Cassiel and Ariel joined in. Karma and I watched the others have fun from a distance with smiles on our own faces, happy to be with each other again.
