A Ninja's love (Garu x reader)

Your Pov:
I wake up in my new house, I just moved in yesterday, now I have to buy the groceries for the month tomorrow and start getting organised.. I get up, start tidying my room, clean and bathe and get ready to go out
after a while, I go out to walk around the village to get my bearings in my new life.

As you walk around you realise that the village is much quieter than where you used to live, you can feel the peace You look ahead where the bamboo forest is, you decide to walk around and when you get tired you lie down in one of the bamboos.

Garu's Pov :
It's a cold night, I'm sharpening my ninjato (ninja sword) Mio is sitting and purring in my lap, he's cute and suddenly I hear a scream coming from the forest.
I quickly get up and run to where the sound came from, finding a person being attacked by a bear

 

Your Pov:
You see a boy with pigtails appear out of the shadows who grabs you and hoists you onto his shoulders as he runs away from the bear, some time later he takes you to what appears to be his home.

-Oh, thank you for helping me, I really appreciate it, just in case, do you know where the village is? I got lost.–

The boy nods, still carrying you on his shoulders, and leads you towards the village, You thank him again and go home.

The next morning
I'm at the vegetable fair buying just what I need for the month when suddenly I see the boy from yesterday running away from a girl with buns and closed eyes and another girl with light blue hair and a pink dress, I never got his name, poor him being harassed, then the girls got into a fight so the boy came up close to where I was and I told him

-Hey, are you the guy who helped me yesterday?–
He nods, you see the girls start to look for him.

- I see you need a little help with those two, they are looking for you, so come with me, and I'll take the opportunity to invite you for a cup of tea to thank you for yesterday–

The boy looks back, looks at you and accepts your proposal, you take him by the hand and lead him to your house, leaving the groceries on the table, you prepare a cup of tea for the boy and tell him anecdotes and when you serve him tea you ask him

—Hey, what's your name? You never told me–
The boy hands you a piece of paper with the name "Garu".

—Garu heh, that's a cute name, it suits you haha–

You see how garu smiles a little smile, you start to ask him about him and his likes and dislikes, he passes you sheets of paper where he answers you and they stay "talking" for a long time

When you say goodbye to Garu you give him a warm hug and he pulls away a little but accepts it, later when you go to sleep, you think "I made a friend" and smile excitedly.
