Chapter 24

Louis flattened down his long sleeved black dress shirt with his hands a little nervous. Straightening his collar and unbuttoning a couple buttons to show his tattoo, he gave himself a once over in the bathroom mirror making sure his slim fit trousers were okay. He neatened up his hair a little bit so it was more tame and opened the door to exit.

Harry was stood looking out the balcony window wearing similar black dress shoes to Louis, grey fitted trousers and a black dress shirt which was rolled up at the sleeves. He turned around when he noticed Louis presence and approached him with a loving smile.

Up close Louis could see black swirls of velvet on Harrys shirt and he smiled slightly at the detail. "Ready darling?" Louis asked and received a nod from the taller who interlinked their arms and guided them down the lift.

Within about 20 minutes the two were sat on a ski lift cascading up a different white mountain which seemed to have one of the highest peaks in that area. Frequented by skiers in the day but a fine dining restaurant by night. The view was incredible, mountains was all they could see and the sun was just beginning to set casting a golden hue on the snow.

They were assisted out of the box they were in and toward the restaurant which sat at the peak of the mountain. Louis was grateful they brought thick coats as the piercing cold wind brushed against any exposed skin and sent a chill throughout his body. They could instantly tell the decreased amount of oxygen up at this height which was uncomfortable for the first few minutes, but they gradually got used to it when they sat down.

Looking out the window they were sat by Louis grinned when he saw they had the perfect view of the setting sun between two mountains. He drew his attention away from the landscape and toward Harry who was just passing him the wine menu.

"Thank you" He said softly as he opened it up and pouted as he skimmed through the options.

"What do you fancy?" Louis asked unsure as he found himself lost in the options. "Not sure, shall we just get the house red?" Harry proposed and Louis thought for a second before nodding in agreement. Just in time the waiter came to take their drink order and within a minute brought the bottle and glasses back for them. He poured a suitable amount in each before placing the bottle in some ice on the side of the table. He handed the couple the dinner menu and excused himself as they chose.

"Can we order two each?" Louis asked Harry in wonder who bit his lip in thought. "Yeah why not" He smiled and Louis nodded happily as the portions in these restaurants tend to be small.

They soon placed their order, Louis going for a chicken and salad dish whilst Harry went for a fish and vegetable dish. 

"It's beautiful isn't it?" Louis smiled as be rested his chin on his hand looking outside unable to get enough of the environment they were in. "It is" Harry agreed and Louis felt his hand be picked up and a warm kiss be placed on his knuckles. He shifted his gaze to look at Harry lovingly who gave him a look that could only be described as devotion.

"That was absolutely glorious Harry" Louis giggled to himself as they opened the door to their hotel room, reminiscing on the dinner they shared. The food was cooked to utter perfection and they were glad they ordered two mains as they were indeed very small. Louis walked in first and placed his and Harry's coat on the coat rack by the door. 

"I'm gonna get into my jammies I think" Louis said as he walked over to the closet and took a black sheer dressing gown from the hanger. Harry hummed out an okay as he undone the buttons to his dress shirt. The dim lighting making the taller look very chiselled and Louis had to excuse himself to the bathroom before he pounced on the younger man.
