I woke up to the sound of my alarm (I learned my lesson from yesterday morning and decided to set my alarm ) and got out of bed. Haha! It was Christmas Eve! I'd already wrapped both my dads' presents and put them under the tree. After getting dressed, I found out over breakfast that another flat had been bombed. This time, it was closer than the rest. It was a flat only one mile away. Once we'd all finished breakfast, we walked to the crime scene. On the way, Sherlock started to explain what he had concluded yesterday. "I have a feeling this is a threat. Notice how the attacks get closer and closer to us? I still don't know who's behind this therefore we can't stop them."
"Well," I inputted, "as far as we're aware, the flats get bombed in the night but the bombs are already in the flat beforehand. So they have a timer or a detonator, a way to have them explode once the bomber is out of the way. We just need to make sure no bombs have been placed in our flat before we go to sleep and in the worse case scenario, we get Mrs Hudson, my rats and any important belongings out of the flat and stay out until the next morning. If the flat is still intact by then, we see if Lestrade could get any bomb detection dogs in, make sure there are no bombs, and then we see from there." I finished.
"Sounds like a solid plan." John answered. Sherlock nodded in agreement.

After forty minutes, we finally finished inspecting the flat. The flat's damage was the same as the one we'd seen two days ago. "It doesn't make sense. The damage has increased as the attacks happen. The flat we just saw should have been the most damaged. That's how the pattern should work. It . . . THIS IS NOT HOW IT'S SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!!" Sherlock yelled.
"Alright, Sherlock. Alright. Take a deep breath. Come on, let's go to the hospital and see if any of the casualties have woken up from their comas."
"Can I say something?", I asked.
"Yes yes go on." Sherlock grumbled as he rubbed his forehead.
"Well I was just wondering if this attack was so small because the bomber is saving the bombs for something bigger." John agreed. He then checked his watch and said that we should leave for the hospital now in case the patients become even more ill.
