Naruto sasuke and the whole gang were hanging out at ichiraku ramen 

Sasuke just got back from a solo mission that took almost a month and Naruto decided to celebrate his return with ramen and invited everyone else,They stayed there for hours talking and laughing they've all been so busy so it was nice to catch up

The shop was about to close and the owner started yelling at them to get out he was already quite annoyed with Naruto and the others because of how loud and rowdy they were being,They all eventually headed out and started saying their goodbye's to one another and went their way home as Naruto was about too he was stopped by sasuke

"hey Naruto are you tired" he said with a glint of hope that Naruto isn't "I mean no not really why do you ask" "well I was wondering if you still want to hang out though if you're not up for it I get it it's late anyway" "NO I WAN- I mean yeah I want to hang out id probably just be eating ramen till I fall asleep anyway" 

''we just left ichiraku'' sasuke said mortified, naruto laughed at his expression

they begin to walk around together with no destination in mind they were quiet sasuke kept looking around any and everywhere other than Naruto's direction and naruto just kept fidgeting with the zipper of his jacket sensing the weird tension

the night before sasuke left for his mission he and sakura were hanging out at Naruto's place and they were just laying around passing a joint having a lazy night together in silence naruto got up to use the bathroom and sakura sat up suddenly 

''a small cafe opened up recently'' ''oh yeah?'' sasuke asked with fake intrigue ''the owner is a real book fanatic anyone that goes there usually goes for the books in his cafe'' ''the coffee is alright too bitter in my opinion tho'' sasuke looked up from his laying position with red eyes annoyed at his pink haired yapping friend ''is this going somewhere?'' 

sakura rolled her eyes at her irritated friend, with a grin she said ''naruto would never drink anything bitter in his life yeah'' confused at where this is going he said ''yeah?''   ''and have you ever seen him pick up a book in his life?'' sasuke sat up with a faint smile ''nope thats one thing ill never hold my breath on'' and he continued ''but seriously where is this going?''

''I went there with shikamaru the other day, hes been there a few times i saw naruto there hopped up on the counter talking with the owner they were reaaal friendly'' sakura says with a laugh noticing her ravenette friend sudden alarmness  ''hes social you know him he gets along with everyone he meets'' he said out loud trying to reassure himself 

''shikamaru said that hes seen them together like that almost every time he went there'' sasuke felt a wave of jealousy wash over him '''does he think they're dating?'' ''yknow my boyfriend is dense about those stuff he thinks they're just good friends'' ''you really need to get your shit together the guy is pretty handsome and charismatic naruto seems real reall smitten''

''when are you going to grow some balls and just confess already hmm?'' with that sasuke blushed furiously and naruto walked out at just that exact moment he sat down and put his legs over Sasukes and took the joint from his hands noticing the faint blush on sasukes pale cheeks but thinking nothing of it ''what chya guys talking about'' 

sakura quick to salvage the awkward moment ''me and shikamarus anniversary is coming  up, and he just told me today that hes going to take me on a getaway'' naruto the biggest fan boy of the twos relationship ''I cant believe its been a year since you two started dating ughh Im so jealous who knew shikamaru can be such a romantic'' naruto said more excited than her
