I was searching for sonic 1, But everything was not cheap. So I put a Price limit. It appeared only one listing, That seems normal. But the price is only one dollar.
I bought it. And started playing sonic before the sequel.

When it arrived, It was in pretty good condition. Until I opened the box...

It had a lot of scratches and it's very beatup.

The cart is in pretty good condition.

I called my friends and conisns to watch. I turned on my sega genesis. The sega screen instead of being blue is purple.

I got confused on why the sega is like that.

The title screen didn't have the background, and sonic didn't appear.

I pressed start and corruption boyfriend appears and the game glitches for 5 seconds before going to green hill as corrupt skid.

I got confused. Is this a troll? Like someone sold a fake sonic 1 for $1? I continued playing by holding right. I saw pump. But he is not corrupted. Skid touched him. And a message appears "NO PLEASE!"

I heard scary laughing outside. I still didn't pay attention and continued.

Now the game is in marble zone, But as corrupt pico. The gui instead of saying "RINGS" just like in sonic 1 or "CANDY" just like in the green hill zone, Says "AMMO".

I restarted my sega genesis and the game was different... Instead of "SONIC" In the title of the game it's says "CORRUPT"

I pressed start again and Instead of green hill. I'm in a void. And I am boyfriend but I can't move him. Not even pausing works.

I waited for something bad happen until corruption spreaded in boyfriend.

I got scared a bit. And a message appears in Spanish. Saying
"THIS GAME IS PIRATED! ITS ILLEGAL TO PIRATE GAMES. REPORT THE GAME TO SEGA®."

I got scared. I restarted my Sega Genesis. And instead of the title screen. It goes to green hill zone. But corrupted.

Corrupted boyfriend looks at me. And a message appears "YOU COULD NOT BE BOUGHT THIS"

I turned off my Sega Genesis, And checked if the listing exists. It didn't exist.
I dumped the rom. And seems like this isn't sonic 1... It's a ROM hack. The name of the header says "BF THE CORRUPTION".
