The Sleepover (Part 2)

The sound of meat sizzling on the grill, Haerin put the cooked meat onto the serving plate at the next table.
The smell was very tempting, Haerin imagined how much the premium meat cost, well but who cares, the important thing is that she can eat for free.

Her stepsister was an cheeky little bastard, she took all the pocket money from dad, and threatened her to come stay at Danielle's house.
Hyein even threatened her while holding Haerin's backpack that already contained her clothes, that meant Hyein had planned it.

Haerin flipped the meat on the grill, her sister been act strange lately, she sticks to Haerin whenever she gets the chance, at school or at home. Haerin snorted.
"You must be imagining the price of that meat right", Haerin looked over, Hyein was dipping the cooked meat in barbeque sauce, she then put it on the lettuce and devoured it, "Wow, THIS IS SO DAMN GOOD."

Haerin didn't answer her, she put the meat tongs on the table and walked a little away from the grill, "Hey, don't burn it!!" Hyein yelled.

Haerin took off her cap, she brushed her hair and shake her head. She then looked at the wires of the small lights hanging, it was very beautiful, Haerin really liked it, she smiled a little.

She then turned over and was about to approach the grill again, her eyes accidentally met with Danielle, the girl was staring at her with her mouth half open, Haerin stared at her for a moment and went back to taking care of the meat on the grill.

"This is really good! Gosh, Danielle let me stay at your place." said Hyein, her mouth full of Tteokbokki, she then took Danielle's cell phone and opened her Spotify. Soon the speakers at the end of the garden played a song with a thumping bass, Hyein bobbed her head vibing with the music.

She continued eating while looking at Minji who was approaching Hanni at the gazebo, Hyein glanced next to her, Danielle was eating her meat gracefully, but her eyes were busy glancing at Haerin.

Hyein rolled her eyes, teenage hormones.

Minji put her plate on the table and sat across from Hanni, the girl didn't say anything, nor did she look at Minji.
The tall girl didn't mind, she just wanted to be near Hanni, and luckily the girl didn't move away from her. Minji misses Hanni's laughter, and her fussiness, or when Hanni would run and pull her to the cafeteria so they wouldn't run out of Bingsu. They ate in silence.

"Hanni!!!" they both turned around, "Let's do karaoke!!!" called Hyein, Danielle next to her while holding the mic and dancing a little, the song Who's Your Mama came from the speakers. Hanni immediately stood up and jog over to Hyein while giggling. Minji sighed.

Danielle's bedroom, 09:06 pm.

Haerin sat on the sofa next to Danielle's bed, she didn't understand why they all had to sleep in the same room, Danielle had two guest rooms, why couldn't she sleep in one of them?

Haerin looked at Minji who was playing with her cell phone, her enemy didn't even throw a hateful look at her today, she was busy following and staring at Hanni from a distance, Haerin knew they were being secretive. Hyein told her yesterday at school, and Haerin just looked at her expressionlessly at that time, her step-sister really couldn't keep her mouth shut.

Danielle came out of the bathroom followed by Hyein and Hanni, the Aussie girl was wearing a light purple tank top and jogger pants, while Hyein was wearing pajamas, Hanni was wearing an oversized shirt and shorts. Haerin turned her face, what the hell??

Hyein jumps on the bed, Hanni follows her, they both giggle, Haerin looks at them annoyed, so noisy. She got up and walked towards the door.

"Where are you going? asked Hyein.
"I want to sleep in the guest room." Haerin said without looking.
Hyein gasped, "You promised to sleep together!", "I didn't say anything." Haerin said coldly and looked irritated at Hyein, she then returned to the door, why is this room so big??
