I sat up "stop" fluttershy looked at me "what's the matter". I stared at her for a while then answered "this is wrong. We are. Just friends" she placed her hand on my shoulder butterflies formed in my stomach but I ignored them. "I understand" she answered quietly before getting up. I watched her walk across the room I don't know why but I yelled "we can't be friends" she was just as surprised as I was. My palms were sweaty and my thought dry. "W-what" tears formed in her eyes. "We can't be friends" I looked away. "Why" she sunk to her knees now tears rolling down her cheeks. "Because I like you a lot and if we are friends I have to be around you and that's hard for me" she slowly got up and nodded leaving the room. I let out a breath I dint know I was holding then started to cry. "Why" I choked out "she was my best friend how did this happen". A moment later my mother came in and sat next to me putting her shoulder around her. "Shh it's ok" she whispered I cried harder and dug my head into her chest. "Tell me what happened fluttershy left crying" I just whispered "were not friends" my mother looked at me "what nonsense " I shook my head "it's true" she held me closer "what happened" I told her everything. The kiss. Gilda. The fight. She understood everything i was saying like she went through it herself. "Its OK it will work out sonner or later" then she got up and left. I thought to myself weird. I eventually fell asleep.
