A month since Hazel moved in, everything went well. Until a friend of Solaris had decided to visit the theater.

Being who she was she strolled in as if she owned the place. Solaris greeted her with a wave from where he was cleaning the stage after another performance.

"Hey is your youngest brother around?"

Solaris hid his suspicious look with a smile.

"He's backstage with a friend Adrenna."

This was the girls name. She nodded and went backstage, Solaris followed shortly after. Almost immediately after she saw how close Hazel and Dýo where, she got jealous.

Solaris had to resist the urge to run in and slap Adrenna, tell her to stay away from his brother but he had to wait to be sure.

Adrenna shoved past Hazel and hugged Dýo, who looked very uncomfortable. Hazel noticed.

Solaris looked down at Hazel's hands. They where now closed fists and he looked ready to punch Adrenna.

She pulled out of the hug and begun to flirt with Dýo, his look becoming more and more uncomfortable. She then grabbed his hand and pulled him towards her, as if readying to kiss him. Dýo let a noise of discomfort escape him. Hazel was about to slap her when Solaris stepped out looking angry.

Walking right up to her, he shoved her away from Dýo, stepping in front of him in a protective manner.

"Hey!"

She yelled. Solaris' red ringed pupils focused on her.

"He likes someone else."

He said through gritted teeth.

Hazel's face fell.

"Who? Who does he like?!"

Adrenna retorted.

"He likes another male and if you dare tell anyone I will make sure that you are never heard from again."

Solaris snarled pointing a finger in her face. Dýo felt Hazel's hand take his and guide him out of the backstage theater and outside to the lavender field.

Dýo felt safer outside in the lovely purple and green field, even safer with Hazel out there with him. The two sat down where they left the lavender crowns placing them on each other's heads Hazel started rubbing Dýo's back.

"How long has she been doing that?"

Hazel asked.

"About two months...."

He said looking to the ground in shame.

"That was the first time she was caught huh?"

Dýo nodded slightly.

"Well she can't hurt you anymore."

Hazel said gently ruffling Dýo's hair who giggled at this

"No! Hazel! Stop! Stop!"

Dýo said in between laughs. Hazel didn't listen.

"Why should I stop I've only just begun my friend."

Dýo grabbed Hazel's hand smiling, giggling and having a slight purple tint to his face causing Hazel to blush, and look away, but he looked back after a few moments.

Dýo had leant his chin on a closed fist as he stared ahead at the sunset. Hazel scooted closer to him, slipping his hand in Dýo's, who looked over and down before his face turned bright purple.

Hazel had a bright red blush all over his face as he looked up at Dýo, reaching his hand up to his cheek, gently running his thumb over his cheek. This caused Dýo's blush to darken, it got even darker when Hazel leaned closer to his face.

Hazel couldn't take it anymore he leaned in his lips connected with Dýo's. His hand clutched Dýo's and his other his cheek. Dýo adjusted his hand so he could grab Hazel's before he pulled it away and kissed Hazel back holding his face in his hands. Hazel threw his arms around Dýo's neck moving one hand behind his head holding him there.

A few sweet moments later the two pulled away from each other both blushing and smiling at each other softly before Hazel stood up rubbing his arm and looking extremely guilty.

"I'm so sorry. You like someone else. I shouldn't have done that."

That's when it hit Dýo, he was getting up too leave him.

"Hey wait!"

Dýo said standing up.

"No come back!"

Tears burned his eyes as Hazel walked to the theaters back door. Dýo was frozen on the spot where Hazel left him.

"Haselhurst I-"

The door shut before he could finish saying it. Tears spilled from his eyes and he sat back down hugging his knees and sobbing into them

"I love you too"

He sobbed before getting up and walking to the theaters back door opening it and running to his room in tears.

His brothers and sister who were all in the hall ran after him but he already entered his room and locked the door sitting on his bed, once again hugging his knees and sobbing into them as Sunset flitted over to him landing on the flower crown of lavender, which he still had on.

Hazel had gone to his room feeling like he'd made a major mistake. But that kiss felt so right to him. Maybe if he'd said something before he kissed him it wouldn't have felt like a mistake.

Hazel sat in his desk chair tears threatening to fall. He wouldn't allow it, even if he was alone.

Dýo kissed him back so he should've been happy right?

Right?
