"Gwenchana (it's ok), eomma (mom). I know you and papa want only the best for me. Right now, we've got a bigger problem in our hands." Jungkook said tiredly plopping on the couch.

💌

"Bigger problem? What do you mean by that Jungkook?"

Jungkook's dad asked as he sat on the couch near Jungkook after putting yoongi on the bassinet.

"Hoseok wants the sole custody of Yoongi."

"What? He isn't going to give up even after you said that you want a divorce?"

"He doesn't care about me, papa. He doesn't care that I want a divorce. All he cares about is power, money and respect. If he gets rich, power and respect will immediately follow him. Now his dad wants a heir with good genes for his company which is our yoongles obviously and their only obstacle is me.

Once he gets the sole custody of Yoongi, I'll be out of the picture because he's gonna take Yoongs somewhere far away where I can't find them.

Do you wanna know what's the bigger problem than that? Since both of us don't want to give up we have to fight in the court for Yoongi's custody. I'm honestly so scared, papa. Hoseok's family is so rich and what would I be able to do before them. Yoongi's just two. He can't take any decisions. I'm sure Hoseok would pay the judge a hefty sum. Even if we get lucky and the judge appointed to our case is honest and virtuous, the custody will go to Hoseok because their lawyer would say something like how Hoseok and their family is rich and how he can take care of yoongi better than me. They would also include how they can afford to educate yoongi better than us by joining him in an international school and how they can buy yoongi whatever he wants. This is actually considered a plausible reason in the court, papa when it comes to custody cases." Jungkook ranted a 5 minute harangue.

"Jungkook, first of all calm down. Getting angry won't get you anywhere. You're just spoiling your health. We can surely think of something.

Here, drink this Yuja-Cha (Citron Tea) first. Papa made it just for you with a lot of honey just how you like it."

"Omo, Jungkook-ah. Aishh, chincha. Why are you crying like a small kid? No stop. Don't." Jungkook's mom said as she got up and wiped his tears with her both hands.

"I shouldn't have married at all. I should have just stayed with you guys all my life and should have died just like that. I just thought with Hoseok I found love and could be happy. I didn't expect any of this to happen. I hate my life, mom. It hurts so much. My heart hurts so much but I can't do anything about it." Jungkook cried as he hugged his mom and let it all out.

"Aigoo, our baby. My Jungkookie hasn't even changed. You're still the same. Don't cry. Wanting to be loved by someone who isn't your family is not a bad thing, Jungkook-ah. And what the heck do you mean by you hate your life? Did I suffer from labor pain for 2 hours just for you to hate your life? Jungkook-ah, life is a gift and you should always cherish it. I've always taught you, right? Life is not always rainbows and unicorns. Nobody can stay positive and happy all the time and also nobody can stay negative and sad all the time. This phase of your life will be over within a blink of an eye and you'll be back to normal."

"You aren't saying all this just to make me feel better, aren't you?"

"Nope. I meant every word I said. Now after finishing the tea, go take yoongs to your room and sleep. You must be worn out. We'll talk tomorrow."

"By the way, eomma? Where's hyung?"

"He is pulling an all-nighter for his work. He'll be here by the time you wake up. Now that you're back, we'll have a lot of family time."
