"Ah, don't you love the smell of horrid exhaust fumes in the morning?" I said to my mother sarcastically.
"Ha-Ha very funny Cal. Stop, now!" She said sternly.
"How do you expect me to get used to a smell so terrible?" I said.
"Enough. I know you're upset we moved from California to New York but you know we had to." She replied.
"Seriously? That's what you telling yourself, we had to?" I questioned.
"Excuse me?" She Snapped.
"Nothing," I replied.
"Just get ready for school please, don't want to be late on your first day," She said all happily.
I couldn't believe my mom went through with this stupid move. I wasn't even supposed to come. The plan was for my parents to flee, like they're good at doing, while I stayed with my Aunt Lola. But no.
Whatever, I am done with the situation. New year, new school, new opportunities. I just hope I don't screw up this year like I did the last one.
