Beomgyu was worried that Hueningkai wasn't texting him. He was pacing around when suddenly he got a call. He picked up his phone, Taehyun. He answered the phone.
Beomgyu: "Yes, Tae?"
Taehyun: "Come to the hospital, now!"
Beomgyu's heart dropped.
Beomgyu: "Okay...?"
-At the hospital-
Beomgyu saw Taehyun at the entrance waiting for him. Beomgyu ran to Taehyun.
"What happened? Is everything okay?" Beomgyu asked. Taehyun had tears in his eyes and his nose was red. That made Beomgyu more worried.
"Why are you crying?!" Asked Beomgyu while wiping his tears. Taehyun sniffed, he wasn't the type to cry a lot, he only cried when something really bad happened.
"H-Hueningkai..."
Beomgyu's heart started to race, what happened to Hueningkai?
"He's... In a coma." Taehyun said while beginning to cry more. Beomgyu's eyes got wide and tears started to form in his eyes. Taehyun pointed to a hospital room and Beomgyu ran to it and opened the door. He could see Hueningkai laying on a hospital bed. He had scars on him. He didn't look too well.
"Sir?" Someone said beside him. He turned to them trying not to cry. "What happened to him...?" He asked the person who looked like a doctor.
"He got hit by a truck. He is in a coma now." The doctor said while looking worried.
"When will he wake up?" Beomgyu asked with his voice shaky and heavy breathing.
The doctor looked unsure, "We do not know yet." The doctor replied. Beomgyu sighed and put his head down with tears dropping from his eyes. He wiped his tears and put his head up.
"May I be alone with him...?" He asked. The doctor wasn't sure if they should let him since they do not know if he's a family member or not.
"Of course." The doctor said while leaving the room. The door shut and Beomgyu sat on a chair beside Hueningkai.
"Kai..." Beomgyu's voice sounded like it was about to break. Beomgyu prayed that nothing bad would happen to Hueningkai but that did not work. He'd rather be hit by a truck than Hueningkai, he couldn't live without him.
Beomgyu holds Hueningkai's hand with shaky hands. "I promise to be with you until you wake up. I promise." Beomgyu said while tears rolled down his eyes.
