Silence was all over the Sacred Library as the two Gods continue to sort out the scrolls in the library. Until a servant rushes in and with a shy voice, they called out to get the Gods' attention

"M-my Gods..."

"Yes servant? What is it that you need?" The God of Wisdom spoke with authority

"G-Great God Osiris is...asking f-for you"

This made Thoth stop and turn to the servant. "Me? Why?"

"I'm not sure...he asked me to get you at once"

"Hmm...A prophecy maybe?" The Goddess of Truth chimed in

"No, I haven't had any premonitions, especially in dreams..." Thoth pause as he ponders for awhile "I won't know until I get there. Where is he?"

"At the main building"

"Ma'at-"

"Don't worry, I will take care of the scrolls here" Ma'at said with a reassuring smile

"Thank you Ma'at" Thoth said with a loving smile before turning to the servant "come servant, let's make haste" Thoth spoke with authority as he walks out of the library, making the servant clumsily rush to catch up to Thoth

Ma'at watches them leave the library, the way Thoth leaves with his head up high reminds her so much of her

It took awhile for Thoth to get to the main building but he was able to arrive to see Osiris and Isis staring curiously at something

"Oh honorable Isis and Great King Osiris, how may I be able to help?" Thoth asks as he bows

"Thoth, we ask you to come here to help us explain what this creature is" Osiris answers as he steps aside to show what is on the table

"Of course I can-!" Thoth froze in shock and surprise to see the black ashen skin of a creature. The sight of it was very peculiar, but to Thoth, it scared him. Isis noticed how scared Thoth look

"I assume you do know this creature, Great Thoth?"

Thoth takes a deep breath before nodding "yes, I...have encountered these creatures back then, when I was just a child"

Isis then asks "So these creatures exist before we were born?" 

"Yes" answered Thoth

Osiris then chimed in "hmm...but why now did it shows up here in Heliopolis? When we were young, there were no creatures in Heliopolis before"

"That's...." Thoth hesitated, which was noticed by the two Gods

"Please tell us Thoth, what if these creatures become a threat to Egypt?" Isis asks

"I...don't know much about the creature. But how did you find this creature?"

The two Gods look at each other before Osiris answers Thoth "one of the servants found it dead, then immediately report it to us"

"I see, then it's safe to say we shouldn't worry about these creatures attacking Heliopolis or Egypt"

"You sound so sure Thoth, why is that?" Asked Osiris

"Because we are protected"

"Protected? By who?"

"...By someone who is...my mother"

"Your mother? We don't seem to have met her"

"She left Heliopolis to fulfill her duty, and she knows more of these creatures more than I do. I apologize for failing my duty as the God of Wisdom"
