After Thoth gives the scrolls about dreams to Anubis, he watches the young boy run out with the scrolls in hand. Thoth then turns around and started thinking why Anubis wanted to learn about dreams. 'Did he had a nightmare? No, he also mentioned the dreamline. There aren't any mentions of dreamlines in the other scrolls except...' Thoth pauses and remembers one person who talks and knows about dreamlines

"Mother..."

"Thoth?"

Thoth turns to see Maat, making him sigh in relief

"It's just you Maat"

"I just came by to bring back the scrolls, you were whispering to yourself again"

"Old habits die hard, as mother would say" said Thoth as he takes a few of the scrolls off Maat's hands

"Oh, that's surprising, why the sudden mention of her?"

"Anubis came here to the sacred library, he wanted to learn about dreams for some reason, there's not much about dreams, and the only one I know who knows dreams more than I do is...mother"

"Hmm...Do you want me to ask mother if they know where Aunt is? Besides Anubis' curiosity in dreams, I know you miss her very much Thoth"

Thoth froze, he wants to admit it, but he shook his head and place the scrolls on the table

"It was just a thought Maat, nothing more"

Maat looked unconvinced, so she places the rest of the scrolls on the table before placing a hand on Thoth's shoulder "Thoth, you miss her, I miss her too. And I'm sure she wouldn't mind you to visit her even once"

"No, you know how much she doesn't want to be disturbed when she is doing her duty, and I don't want to disturb her rest as well, and besides, it was just a thought and Anubis will forget about it. That is all"

Maat was still not convinced but accepts Thoth's stubbornness

"Alright, but the choice is still on the table, we might as well try to know where she is"

Thoth smiles and nodded, "of course Maat"

"Now that that's over with, help me out with these scrolls will you"

"Alright alright"

Thoth then helps Maat sort out the scrolls. As the two Gods are sorting out the scrolls and putting them in the right place, Thoth couldn't help but remember some memories from his childhood

"Mother what are you doing with these scrolls?" A small Thoth asks tiptoeing to see what was written on the scrolls

"I'm writing down some orders to the servants on what to do with some plants, it's also to help you learn as well as the soon-to-be God of Wisdom my child"

"Oh! Can I see can I see? Please please please!"

"Patience child, I am still writing"

"Patience?"

"Yes, patience is a virtue"

"What does that mean mother?"

"It means to wait for something without getting angry or upset is a valuable trait in a person"

"If I am patient, then you'll be happy and love me mother?"

This made his mother stop for awhile before putting down the brush and gently places a hand on his head, she then smiles

"Yes my child" Thoth then hugs his mother while she picks up the brush again and continues to write

Thoth then remembers another memory from his childhood
