MAVEN
He holds back his anger as much as he can while escorting Princess Doone to through the castle.
Everyone knows that something has gone down as everyone was moved out of the ballroom as soon as Maven called for guards.
Queen Elara waits just inside the doors, knowing her daughter was missing.
"Are you serious?!" Queen Elara steps in front of Maven, who has a hold of Doone's arm, with a white knuckle grip. "You were caught fornicating with Prince Rafe in a room in the middle of the ball that is celebrating your marriage to Prince Maven?!"
The rage that sits on Queen Elara's face sends fear signals down even Maven's spine. But his sadistic personality doesn't let it bother him for too long. He smiles at Queen Elara.
"Yes, she was, and I am taking her up to my room if you don't mind, Your Majesty," Maven bows his head. Queen Elara snorts.
"Go right ahead," she says despite Doone's quiet pleas behind Maven. She leans close, whispering in Maven's ear. "Teach her a lesson, why don't you?"
The Queen winks, and steps out of Maven's way, giving Doone a disgusted look. Maven pulls her up the stairs behind him, taking her to his room. His anger is still boiling under his skin, but the run-in with Queen Elara calmed him a little.
They reach his room a few minutes later. Maven's servant girl smiles and steps forward, her smile falling when she sees Doone behind Maven, her hands tied together. The servant girl says nothing, just opens Maven's door, and steps back.
Maven winks at her without a word and leads Doone in, shutting the door behind them. It's dark in his room and he turns the light on. Doone winces, blocking out the brightness. Maven smirks and takes her to the corner of his room. He ties her to the heat radiator and walks away, taking off his jacket. He hears Doone whimper and he spins on his heels, smiling at her.
"What's wrong?" He asks, rolling his sleeves up. Doone says nothing.
"I said, what's wrong?" Maven repeats, taking a threatening step toward her. She yelps and bows her head.
"Nothing." She mumbles. Maven smiles to himself.
"Good, then keep your mouth shut. You are going to listen, while I talk. Then you can talk when I tell you," Maven tells her, stepping away to face his mirror. He unbuttons his shirt and takes it off, revealing strained abs and pale skin.
Maven doesn't speak for a minute, sitting on his bed and taking his shoes off, getting comfortable in his dress pants. The radiator turns on and Doone writhes in discomfort as her hands start to heat up.
"Now, instead of killing you, which trust me, sounds really good right now, I need a wife. So here is your choice. You can either marry me on Mercury in three days' time, or I'll kill Rafe, and I'll make you watch. You have a few minutes to think about it," Maven gets up and goes to his bathroom, gets in the shower, and washes himself off.
It takes him no longer than ten minutes to get done and he is walking out of his bathroom, his towel around his neck and a pair of loose black sweats on around his waist. Other than that he has no clothes on.
Doone is watching him, terror in her eyes. She thinks he is going to hurt her, but little does she know, he's still too pissed to want to feel her up.
"Have you thought about my proposal?" Maven asks her, busying himself with his hair.
Doone doesn't say anything, not falling for Maven's trick.
