WHAT!" I yelled as our car pulled up to Jennie's storage units. "It's only for a little while-"
"That's exactly the problem!" When are we going to find a place for us to set down roots? When am I going to be able to call a place home and make friends?"
My mom just smiled and stepped out of the car to unlock our unit. "You know I have a pretty good feeling about this next one."
I just rolled my eyes. She says that every time and I'm still waiting for that to happen. I just looked around at some of my stuff. Mom already packed all my clothes, what else could I need at an old rundown farm? I decided to take a few random things to decorate my new room.
Then I realized I would be at a new school so I got some things for my locker. I continued poking around in my stuff until I found my old notebook. I used to write so much my old 'friends' always criticized me for it. How could I help that I was smart and they were dumb?
I searched a little more for the black and silver pen that went with it and found it under a pile of old albums. It would be nice to have an old part of myself with me. And I can use my old essays for notes and answers.
Overall I was more worried about school and if I'll finally get to do the things I want to do.
Tomorrow I guess we'll find out.
