Eventually school was over, summer came and went, and fall was back. Brayden and I grew very close and did almost everything together.
I sat up in bed and looked out the window. Seemed it was going to be a clear day. I sighed loudly when I realized I overslept, I was supposed to get up early and take care of the animals. Then a text popped up on my phone. I smiled knowing that ringtone very well.
The message said "I turned off your alarm yesterday. I let you sleep in and took care of the animals for you."
A smile spread across my face and I replied before getting out of bed. "Thank you so much! I really needed it." We had gotten quite a few more animals around the farm after spring. So it was up to me and Brayden to take care of them. And I am so grateful he did that for me because honestly I feel refreshed and well rested."
I walked downstairs and wondered around the kitchen for something to eat. Then another text popped up on my phone.
"I'm taking you out to breakfast. If you haven't already eaten."
Alright he's gotta be reading my mind. "Ok, 9 sound good?"
I got the "sounds good" before running upstairs. My shower took longer than expected and I ran around getting ready. Eventually I made it out the door 5 minutes after 9. Brayden was waiting on the porch.
   "Let's go."
  He looked up. "Alright."
We waked off the porch to-
"You got a new truck!?"
He flashed a small proud grin. "Yep, it took a while but I did it."
I smiled at him and decided to tease him. "Look at you becoming all fancy."
He pulled me to him, kissed me once, then reached over to open the door for me.
"Alrighty lets go."
