Chapter 5

Jack's alarm goes off for school as he wakes up from the bed and sees no one there. "Ava?" he said quietly as he got out of the bed and looked around the room, he found nothing. He walked around the house with no shirt on as he looked in the mirror and checked himself out. He fixed his hair and everything. "Ava? Hello?" He asked for her. Something jumps out in front of him as he screams. "Woah!! I'm sorry Jack, why are you so startled?" his mom Sarah said. "Oh uh good morning mom, I just can't find Ava, I woke up and she was gone." He said fastly. "It's okay, maybe she went home to get ready for school." Sarah said. "No mom, she always says good morning to me." He said. "Then call her." she said as she walked to the laundry room with the basket in her hands. Jack pulls out his phone and calls Ava, he got no response, it went straight to voicemail.
        The first teacher to walk into the school everyday was Mrs. Kelly, everyone loved her. She was sweet and kind and never gave any homework. She was tall and wore her hair in a clip a lot of the time, she wore glasses as well, she had dirty blonde hair. She unlocked the door and walked in the school. She walked to her classroom. The sun was rising, it was very quiet in the school, the only sound was of Mrs. Kelly's high heels tapping on the floor. She sees a pool of blood on the floor, and she steps in it by accident. She takes her high heel out of it fast. "What the hell?" she said whispering. She walked into her classroom leaving a trail of blood from her high heels. The blood started a trail leading to the closet in the room. She follows it walking very slowly. She slowly opens the closet door as Ava's body drops out of the closet. Mrs. Kelly's eyes go wide as she screams.
        Later on the whole school got a phone call stating that school was canceled that day and they explained why. Jack's eyes went wide. "Ava!!" he said starting to cry, his mom hugged him. "I'm so sorry Jack, this is horrible." Sarah said.
