Chapter 6

Katy could not believe the news. She got her phone and called her friend Jake. He picks up the phone. "Hey Jake, do you want to get coffee? I can't believe what just happened, we gotta talk about it." Katy said. Katy had blue eyes and black hair, with little freckles, not too visible. "Uh, yeah sure, what time?" Jack asked. "Like in 15 minutes." Katy responded. "Oh um okay, let me just get ready and I'll call you when I'm on my way, you can leave now tho." He said. "Alright." she said, hanging up the phone and grabbing her bag. She left the house and drove to 'The Brew Box' a coffee shop she went to a lot with her friends. She parked in the parking lot and got out of her car. She walked in. It was very nice and clean there "Hey Katy!" Liam said. He worked there. "Oh hey Liam!" She said, waving. "How is everything going?" He asked. "Fine, did you hear the news? They just officially confirmed it." Katy said sadly." "Katy?... what news?" Liam asked her. "Ava was caught dead in the school." Katy said. "What?!" He said loudly, everyone looked at him. "Sorry." he said as they continued what they were doing. "Oh my god, what the hell? How did she die?!" He asked Katy. "They said someone killed her." Katy said. I'm meeting Jake here to talk about it some more. "I wonder who it was." Liam said with a smirk on his face as Katy looked away. She looked back at him as he got serious again. "Anyways, how are you and Emma?" She asked. "Eh, she doesn't really text or talk to me a lot. It's like she doesn't want to talk a lot." Liam said. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'll have a chat with her." Jake walks in the shop. "Hey guys!" he said with sunglasses on taking them off. "Hello Jake!!" Katy said, hugging him. He was tall and skinny, he had brown curly hair. "Heyy" Liam said waving to Jake as he waved back. "What can I get you?" Liam said. "I'll take an iced coffee, 3 pumps of sugar." Katy said. "I don't want anything." Jake said in a sad voice. "Jake? Everything okay?" Katy asked. "It's just... we are acting all happy even though our friend Ava just died." Jake said. Katy looked at Liam "He's got a point." Liam said. "Yeah, I'm sorry." Katy said. Liam makes the coffee and gives it to Katy. "Thanks." She said taking a seat with Jake. "Sooo, who do you think did it?" Katy said. "I don't know, I don't even know if I can trust you." Jake said. "What do you mean?" Katy said. "You think I would do something like that?! What the hell?!" She yelled. "Shhh." Jake said, pushing her back to her seat before everyone heard what they were talking about. "I heard it was this guy in a black robe and a white mask... sounds very familiar to-" Katy cuts him off and said "Christina's villain... it sounds exactly like the guy that killed Christina. It has to be someone in our school." She said, "Yeah, that's why I can't trust anyone, including you." Jake said. "Sorry Katy," he said. "It's fine, I get it," She said, taking a sip of her coffee.
