Dynamon Hybrids: the intro

i dont really do dynamon fanfiction, but ill explain the lore for these guys.

Dynamon hybrids were first created when klaude (the bad guy in dynamons) attempted to recreate the power of the legendary dynamons i posted here. apon defeating him, he drops a dynasplicer, an item used to fuse 2 dynamons together.

all dynamons can be fused besides legendary dynamons. also, the order in which they are fused matters, the first dynamon indicates the general silhouette of the fusion, and the second dynamon usually determines things like color, markings, and smaller details. both dynamons play a role in the diet/behavior of the fusion. some fusions might have slightly different colors than either form.

also, the first dynamon doesnt COMPLETELY dominate the silhouette, as you can see in the dynamons below.

the dynamons don't have to be fully evolved to fuse, but there are some things to note:

if you fuse a dynamon that has already evolved 3 times with a 1st stage dynamon, it still can't evolve further.

if you fuse a dynamon that evolved 2 times with a 1st stage, the result will be its 2nd stage + the 3rd stage of the other dynamon.

so the suggested route is to fuse 2 first stage dynamons unless you prefer the sillhouette/markings of a previous form. having a 1st stage dynamon fused with a 3 stage dynamon doesn't make the dynamon weaker. for example, i would definitely prefer fusing something with a lavapede as the silhouette rather than a lapre.

also, if you fuse 2 dynamons of the same type, you're bor- i mean the same-type attacks used by that dynamon are a bit stronger.

movepools are also merged, which may make fusing with later evolutions more advantageous, and they may also learn extra moves as a result of the fusion. if 2 dynamons share a move, the move numbers add (unless of course its a move that has a cooldown, that would make it impossible to attack if all 3 are out at the same time, so it maxes out at 2 in that case.)

the only one that im actually gonna draw and color properly is the one im about to show, a hybrid between hopchop and tazer. the initial design for this was made when dynamons didn't evolve, and when hopchop was my favorite dynamon. (tazer was fused in because i made a goofy fanfiction i wont talk about in detail. i made it when i was like 10.)

Also the fire/electric type version is the "default" version of this like as the other rabbit dynamon will also have the same names, but different types due to how fusions are named. they would also look slightly different in ways other than color.

Hopzer (Hopchop + Tazer)

Types: Electric/Fire

Weaknesses: Fire

Resistances: Electric (the two types basically cancelled each other out apart from their own types)

Bio: A fusion between hopchop and tazer, this cute dynamon is a formidable hunter.

Bio (extra info): this dynamon can easily become dangerous similarly to hopchop, and since it has the electric bite of tazer, and due to it being part hopchop, it can heat up its teeth to high temperatures to, meaning this dynamon is dangerous to be kept near small children. its tail is made of concentrated plasma.

Diet: Omnivorous, hypercarnivorous (70% meat diet). this dynamon can process meat just as well as plants, and can easily survive on a purely plant-based diet.

Movepool (in no particular order, i forgot the levels they learn the moves.): Scratch, Bite, Quick Attack, Shockwave, Smokescreen, Magma Rocks, Thunder Blast, Hellfire, Ion Beam.

Banitage (Baniblaze + Boltage)

Types: Fire/Electric

Bio: Banitage is very fast, being able to run nearly as fast as lighting to chase down prey.

Bio (extra): banitage has noticably longer legs than baniblaze (for reasons stated previously) remember what i said about hopzer being dangerous towards little kids? well obviously hopzer in its edgy teen phase would be even more dangerous. they're as durable as a honey badger and as mean as one too.

Diet: See Hopzer.

Movepool: old movepool +Recharge, +Direct Hit, and +Rage Fire Ring

Lapitzle (Lapinaf + Blitzle, not to be confused with the pokemon blitzle.)

)

Types: Fire/Electric

Bio: Lapitzle's sharp fangs and quick reflexes allows it to be the apex predator of its surroundings.

Bio (extra): Lapitzle actually prefers to be on all 4 legs rather than 2, but it can walk either way. its teeth can heat up to be able to slice through flesh like butter, and along with the sparking electricity, it can kill food with devastating precision. it despite this, it is actually a lot tamer than its pre-evolutions, meaning that their agression was likely a defence mechanism. this dynamon isn't that much larger than blitzle when its on 4 legs, but it is noticeably bulkier looking. think smilodon, but as a rabbit-dog thing. also dont touch its tail, it will become very angry.

Diet: See Hopzer.

Movepool: Previous movepool, +Suck Life +Electro Punch + Sparks + Static Shock +Volcano +Flame Swirl + Hurricane + Fireworks

Anatomy notes for the whole line: their carnassial teeth are both effective at eating meat and grining plants.

their front incisors are larger than their other incisors, but don't grow continuously.

I'll have more concepts for dynamon hybrids, but i probably won't draw them.

the next interesting topic for this book will probably be a term i've dubbed "Neutralization", which is basically sucking the magic energy out of dynamons and making them the neutral or typeless type. i remember sketching one of these neutralized dynamons like a year or 2 before i made these books, but i lost the drawing.
