Chapter 2: So, This is love-?

Once Jack and John got back in the station. John launched to his chair and starts to eat the gum. Jack just sat onto his chair and looks at the window. He suddenly start thinking about how he talked to Kevin. It could not just be me who started get feelings for him, He thought, It's too early, Jack, Be patient. His thoughts were interrupt by John.

"Your trying to talk to him, are you-?" He ask. Jack looks at him and nervously laugh. "A talk-? Noo-? What give you that idea-??" He said. John kept on looking at him. "I maybe far from you. But I am not deaf." He responded. Jack just went silent and looks away. "Maybeee..?" He said. John's face just turned a suspicious face into a smirk. Jack is just looking at him, giving a "Tf-?" face. "John. What are you thinking..?" He said. "Oooh~ You know~" John replied while raising his eyebrows. Jack still looks at him with confusion and realized.

Jack sighed deeply while John is still smirking at him until Jack's phone rings on his desk. John immediately grabs it from the desk. "HOLY- IT'S KEVIN WHO IS CALLING YOU, BOY-!" He shouted. Jack immediately got up and tries to grab his phone from John hands, but John, on the other hand, kept on keeping the phone away from him. "THAT MEANS HE LIKES YOU, JACKK~!" "GIVE ME BACK MY PHONE, JOHN-!" Jack command. John laughs a bit and gives it back to him. Jack grabs it back and looks at his phone. He slowly takes a big deep breath and answers it.

"Hello-? Kevin-?" Jack said. "Hey. I decided to call you since I am about to close the Candy Club." A voice replied back. "Say um." Kevin continues. "Are you free after your job-?" Jack looked at the time. It's 8:15 PM on the clock. He then reply. "I guess I am." And then an idea spark into his head. "Hey umm. Kevin. How about we can try to eat out and watch a movie on my place-?" He said. Kevin's eyes has suddenly widen and blushes lightly. "Jack-?!" John quietly shouted. Jack mute the speaker and looks at him and smirks lightly. John went speechless. Jack unmute his speaker. "So-?" He said. "What's your answer-?" Meanwhile from the other side. Kevin is walking back and forth, thinking while holding the phone. Should I accept it-? He thought. Until Kevin has made his final decision.

"Hello-? Kevin-? You still there-?" The voice came. Kevin looks at his phone and replies. "Yeah. Sure. Tomorrow is Saturday." Same actions that Kevin did, Jack's eyes suddenly widen and blushes madly. Jack then quickly shakes his head to wear of the blush. "Great-! I guess I can pick you up by 8:30." "That's great-! Thanks." Kevin said as he ended the call.

Jack is just left standing there. He slowly places his phone on the desk. And then just jump up and down with excitement. "What-? He accept you or something-?" John said. He already regret asking because Jack replies with excitement. "HE DID-! HE DID ACCEPT IT-!!" "Easy now, Lover-boy. I can let you go and pick him up." John said. Jack stops jumping and looks at him. "Thanks, John." John smiles lightly and slightly nods his head.

Jack immediately went out and got into his car to pick him up.
