Chapter 3
Justin's POV
Dreading school, I went to bed and closed my eyes, thinking about what the next day shall bring.
Of course, that didn't last long with Sammie on the loose. My dog jumped on my stomach and I groaned, "Hey girl," I say, tugging her ears. She barks and snaps at my hand, I laugh and try my best to go to sleep.
~3 hours later~
I woke up, sweat pouring down my face and onto my pillow and already soaked bed. Just a dream I think, and stand up, going to change my pajamas because these are soggy. Someone was chasing me, down a foggy dirt road. The dream was blurry but felt so real. The person was a man in a long, black trench coat, a knife in hand.
I felt exhausted, stressed, and terrified, but at least it's over now. I checked the clock when I was done and saw it was only 1:00 AM. I sighed and went downstairs to the kitchen, getting me out some pulp-filled orange juice.
I raked a hand through my hair, sighing. Stress, stress, stress. Of course it comes from school and being a popstar, what else? I mean, homework and a concert the same night, yeah, not everyone's problem.
I walked back up the stairs, urging for some more sleep, I was sleepy again. The door opened when I tugged on it, I closed it back again and stuffed myself into bed, hoping my dreams would be of rose petals and unicorns, occasionaly some rainbows.
Luckily my dreams came true, it had all of that in it, even some chocolate covered strawberries and some cake. Yum. I could still taste the strawberries and chocolate all mixed in one, suddenly I realized that the bakery was opening, a wonderful thought occured to me, maybe they'd have chocolate covered strawberries there! My mouth watered just thinking about it.
Melanie's POV
I got ready for the grand opening, putting a cute little apron on for looks.
(A/N I'm gonna skip an hour later)
A boy came in, a hot boy I might add. He was now in the back of the line but it was all I could do not to stare at him, I had customers to attend to. "Yes sir that'll be eleven fifty," I told the guy who bought a whole two boxes of donuts. We were raking in the money! Maybe this wouldn't be so bad, I think.
A few people bought cookies and then it was the boy who I saw a few minutes ago. He was staring at the menu overhead, completely dazed.
"Can I help you?" I ask, snapping him out of his thoughts. He abruptly looks at me, and smiles warmly. He made me melt in his chocolate eyes, my knees weak, I continued that hospitable smile, but I couldn't help but think how familiar he looked. Then it came to me, he was Justin Bieber, that kid that my friend, Becca, never stops yapping about. I've heard more stories about him than you could count!
"Uh, yeah I would like to order some chocolate strawberries please," he said, "oh! And some chocolate cake to go."
"Chocohalic?" I ask, giggling. He blushes as I go to the mini kitchen we have, it smells of sweet things. I grab some chocolate cake and put it in a box, I also grab some chocolate strawberries. "Here you go, that will be," I ring up the price quickly, "six seventy-nine."
"That's not a bad price," he observes while he gets the money out, "Here ya go. six seventy nine." He drops the money in my hand and for just a split second our fingers and palms touch, sending fireworks throughout my whole body. "You have a cell?" he asks.
"Who doesn't?" I say, smiling.
"You have a point," he says and writes his number down, "calm me." He winks and goes out the store with his sweets. Sighing I call up the next person, explaining the total fat in a cinnamon roll..
Just soyaknow.. School was meant to start in the next chapter, I don't know why I wrote that in chapter 2. lol :] Sorry for the misunderstanding!!! So, in this chapter it's Sunday, and tomorrow is monday, ok. I hate confusing people AND myself. :/
