I woke up in a place not knowing where I was at, I just knew it wasn't home. I laid in the most comfortable bed ever, fully dressed except that my slides were on the floor. I rose up looking around and it was very goth Victorian decorated, it was very cold. I got out up there bed walking out the room and followed the long hallway where it would lead me. I saw lestat sitting on a cheetah print couch, I knew it was him because of his hair, I walked over and sat on the same identical couch that was sitting across from him.

"I can hardly see anything out of your windows." I spoke.

"Of course you can't, I'm a vampire meaning I can't see the sunlight or I will die

"Of course you can't, I'm a vampire meaning I can't see the sunlight or I will die." He told me but I already knew that, I just have no clue on how I got here. "Your wondering how your in my beautiful home." He sat up and had his hand reached to me, I grabbed it, the next minute I know I'm sitting on top of his lap. He grabbed my wrist and placed it to his mouth, I let him but he stopped. He grabbed the cup, putting my wrist over it his nail sliced my wrist open and he let the blood drain from my wrist. I closed my eyes because that never happened before, he grabbed the cup drinking my blood til it was all gone.

"You remembered what I said." I smiled just a bit.

"Of course, why wouldn't I ?" He asked as he wiped his mouth with a white cloth.

"Because I said that like three years ago-"

"I live for an eternity, I could never forget."

"All vampires have is memories? Why?"

"We are dead, remembering thing is how we cope with the world. Not me though, I live in the light just like the rest of the world." He was bold and cocky without a care in the world, maybe it's because his feelings or any emotion that can get to him is turned off, I don't know maybe I'm wrong.

"You live in the darkness really, your just open with yourself it's not like you can walk in the sunlight. No offense."

"None taken, cause your not wrong, you were never wrong. You are correct. I live in the open because I once used to mortal, I used to be able to see the sun and not keep myself secret. That got took away from by the man who made me." He explained as he put his head down, he got up walking over to me he put his hand out. I grabbed his hand getting up and he walked me over yo a little black case opening it slowly.

The violin I had saw in my dream along with him, these things, these nightmares are coming to reality and I absolutely don't know why

The violin I had saw in my dream along with him, these things, these nightmares are coming to reality and I absolutely don't know why. He picked it up and caressed it slowly, he was very gentle with it I could tell it had meaning to it.

"I only saw it in a dream, I don't know the full story. I would like to know what makes this violin so special." I told him, he chuckled as he lay it down back in the case.

"That's funny, cause you already know. But okay. I will share what's so Important. It was the winter of 1788. And I was brought to a Mediterranean island by the man who made me. If a man is what you'd call him."

Lestat's Story

"Lestat, welcome."

"Who are you?. Do I know you?."

"I am unknowable by nature, but you may call me Marius."

"l' m the lord of a great manor. They'll send an army to look for me."

"I doubt they'll find you, Lord de Lioncourt. You're a long way from home." I was frightened so all I could was run, it was nothing I ever seen before he rose up and flew over to me hunkering me down to ground. He took his teeth and aggressively sunk them into my skin drinking my blood, he didn't let go til I was almost dead.

"You're weak near passing. I can barely hear your heartbeat. The future hastens. An age beyond my antique reason. You will help me understand these times. That's why I chose you." He told me.

"Chose me for what?."  I was curious, he didn't answer my question he just slit his wrist letting the drops of his blood fall onto my mouth, eventually making a way through.

Drink and live. You've been brave enough for one night, my son. Drink and learn." I was hesitant at first, I was lying on the floor dying but a vampires blood is like no other, I couldn't resist any longer so I grabbed his wrist placing it to my mouth drinking his blood. I just felt this good feeling to where I could not stop, I heard his moans and groans but completely ignored it.

"Good, is it not?. No more. No more, Lestat. No more!" He yelled, he had pulled away and at first it was good feeling going through my body but that feeling faded away quickly. It was disturbing and agonizing, the pain was unbearable, all my organs felt like they were getting ripped out and this cold feeling I was moving all around the floor wishing this pain would stop torturing me

"Don't be afraid. It's only your body that dies." He has said standing over me like he was the new god, shortly the pain had left and my skin was colder than ice I had risen with this new attitude, I was no longer mortal.

"More." I looked at him giving a little smirk a newborn vampire is the best feeling, you are stronger and faster at first but it all leaves but you live forever.  I impressed my maker with my thirst for things. He set out to educate me in the unknown. Taught me all about the world, its hidden history and about myself.

"That' s enough, my son. When you feed, hold back from the moment of death. Never take the last drop, or it will draw you in and you will die." I quickly dropped my dinner that I was feeding on, Marius had smiled he was one interesting creature or man as he say.

"Appreciate your prey." It was like the person I was leaving to die was nothing quite funny actually that he kicked him like a piece of shit.  Their blood that we take into us carries with it life their life, their knowledge, their complexity. My senses run amuck, like a newborn child. And as for my new powers, I was beside myself with the pleasure of it all.

"We've stayed long enough." Marius said patting my shoulder.

"But we've spoken to no one"

"A vampire's life is a life of discretion."

"Discretion?."

"Why must we hide, Marius?. We are the powerful, we are the immortal. We should walk fearless in the open, no?."

"That cannot be. We're vulnerable during the day.
Mortals must never know about us, for the sake of all our kind."

"So I could never know her?."

"Not unless you wanted to kill her."

"So I can never be known?."

"You must be dead to the world. Come on, time to leave."
