This is it, Today's the day you and your girlfriend Jenna celebrate your three-year anniversary. Jenna had it all planned out for a couple of months since she knew the anniversary was coming closer and closer, Day by day.

You had gotten all dressed up when you found out she was taking you to one of the best restaurants in the city, Nothing could ruin your excitement about the day that was planned right now. You guys did some sightseeing around the beautiful night-lit area and of course, Took pictures together and some of the places you guys saw. When you and Jenna got into the restaurant and took your seats at your reserved tables and spoke with each other until a waiter came up to you guys and asked for your orders.

Typically it's not a problem when the waiters come up and do their job but Jenna noticed something you didn't, the waitress was continuously flirting with you right in front of her face. I mean it was pretty obvious that you two were dating, You guys kissed at least 4 times while you both were at your table, and the constant hand-holding. Only an idiot couldn't tell that the both of you were dating.

Jenna sat there in her seat glaring at the waitress as she kept showering you with compliments while she was writing down both of your orders. Jenna didn't want to make a big scene in this nice place and especially on your anniversary night but she was getting annoyed by all the stuff she was hearing the waitress say to you. Like "you're so pretty." or "Where'd you get your outfit from?" 

Your girlfriend had gotten fed up with it so she cleared her throat loudly so the waitress could hear. "Can you please finish up with our orders? My girlfriend and I are getting hungry." With of course adding the emphasis on the word 'girlfriend'. Out of embarrassment, the waitress scurried off to the kitchen, You gave your girlfriend a disapproving look which she returned with a confused one.

"What?" Jenna asks after she sees your expression. "Why'd you give her so much attitude? You should've rephrased that in a nicer way Jenny..." Your girlfriend obviously did not agree with your response by the way she scoffed. "Be nicer? She was flirting with you right in front of me and you expect me to be nice." You rolled your eyes at Jenna and snapped back. "She was not flirting with me Jenna, She was just being polite. Which is obviously something you need to work on being."

Jenna gives you a shocked expression, She was going to reply to your remark until a different waiter came up to your table with your meals. You both eat in an upsetting silence, not wanting to talk about what happened.

As you and Jenna were driving back home in yet another awkward silence until your girlfriend finally speaks up. "I'm sorry about what happened back there, I didn't mean to start anything." You look at Jenna and take your hand in hers and rub the back of her hand. "It's okay, you didn't mean to...Plus you were right, that waitress was definitely flirting with me. I didn't even realize until now." You say chuckling.

"Do you want to redo this whole date night thing another time? This was...not our best one." Jenna says pulling into the driveway of your shared home. "Of course, hopefully, it goes better than this one." You say before Jenna pulls you into a passionate kiss.

"I love you Y/n"

"I love you too Jenna"
