Chapter 28~Stressed!

Tiffany's Pov:
We left the lake house on Monday and it's now Thursday. I've been working my ass off at work and so has Levi. We haven't had a lot of time to spend with each other which really sucks! I got home around 7:30pm and I walked upstairs. I opened the bedroom door and stripped down. I picked out some clean clothes and took a long hot shower. I finished and wrapped myself in a towel. I pulled my hair into a ponytail and changed into my pajama shorts and a tank-top. I washed my face and sighed. I walked downstairs and looked through the cabinets for something to cook. Of course I forgot to buy groceries! Damn it! I sighed and grabbed my purse and slipped on my flip-flops and got in my truck. I went to McDonald's and got a quick dinner. I pulled into the driveways and saw Levi's truck. I smiled and jumped out carrying my purse and the food along with the drinks. I opened the door and saw Levi asleep on the couch. I put the stuff in the table and walked over to Levi and kissed his forehead.

"Baby I got us a burger and a milkshake."I whispered kissing his head. He fluttered his eyes open and smiled. He got up and kissed me softly on the lips. We ate our burgers and drank our milkshakes. I was sitting in the chair when I saw Levi lay on the couch.

"Levi will you please clean up your mess before you fall asleep?"I asked sighing. No answer. I asked again. No answer. I walked over to the couch and he was asleep. Of course! I cleaned up all the shit and walked upstairs. I laid down hoping Levi would come up and fall asleep in the bed and not on the couch.

I woke up to a empty bed. I rolled over and pulled the blanket up over my head. Finally I got a day off of work. I decided to get up and brush my teeth and walk downstairs. I sighed seeing a mess on the counter left from Levi packing his lunch. I made some cereal and ate it. I cleaned up the mess and went upstairs. I changed into a pair of jeans and a loose top. I slipped on my boots and grabbed my purse. I got in my truck and got a hair tie out of the cup holder. I put my hair in and messy bun and put the key in and started my truck. I backed outta the driveway and headed to the store. I finished shopping for groceries and ran into Britt. I put the groceries in the back and hopped in. I pulled into the driveway and unloaded everything and put it away. I saw Levi pull up and he got out and walked in.

"Hey."I sighed.
"Hey baby."he smiled trying to kiss me but I pushed him away.
"What the hell is wrong with you today?"he asked.
"You wanna know what's wrong Levi? First I woke up in an empty bed and second I walked downstairs to see a damn mess on the counter that you should have cleaned up but NO! I was the one that had to clean up your mess! That's what the hell is wrong!"
"Baby I'm sorry. I fell asleep on the couch and I-."
"Well that's where you're sleeping tonight as well!"I raised my voice.
"Are you serious?"
"Yes there is a blanket and a pillow in the closet!"
"Fine! What's for dinner?"he asked running his hand through his hair.
"Grilled chicken."I replied putting the everything away.
"Alright. I'm gonna go take a shower I'll be down later."
"Whatever."I mumbled. I cooked the chicken and set the table. I grabbed a beer and sat down. I heard Levi come down the stairs and he sat down in the chair next to me. We ate in silence. I finished eating and washed my dishes. I walked upstairs and stopped.

"Goodnight."I yelled.
"Goodnight."he replied. I walked into the bedroom and changed into a pair of Levi's boxers and his t-shirt.

I felt a hand on my stomach. I rolled over and saw Levi laying there asleep. I snuggled up to his chest and smelt alcohol.

"Levi?"
"Yes princess?"
"Did you get drunk last night?"
"Yeah."he mumbled.
"Go take a shower please you stink! Also brush your teeth!"
"Alright."he said slowly getting up. I sighed and got up and walked downstairs. I made some coffee and walked back upstairs. I sat on the bed and scrolled through my phone. Levi came out and changed into his sweats and leaving his shirt off. I looked up and saw him staring at me.

"Yes?"
"We need to talk."
"Okay."
"Listen. I'm sorry for being messy the reason I left a mess on the counter was because I was in a damn rush. I should have cleaned it up and I'm sorry you had to clean it up."
"I know Levi. I'm sorry for being a bitch. I shouldn't have made you sleep on the couch. I know I've been a super bitchy person this week it's just I'm stressed."I said hugging him. He wrapped his arms around me and put a finger under my chin and moved it up so I was looking at him. He leaned down and kissed me softly.
