Vacation is finally over, today is the day he gets to fly back home, only a few more hours until he gets to hold his P'Payu again.

Am I picking you all up, or are you taking a taxi home?
We are taking a taxi, Mom and Dad didn't want you to have to take off of work
See you soon Rainy, I will be here when you get home, I promise.
Payu is already making plans to ensure he can leave at 2pm for the day. Rain should be home by 4, that leaves just enough time.
Coming home from the florists around 3pm Payu gets busy, he starts on the first floor and makes his way to the bedroom, taking red and pink rose petals and adorning a path from the glass doors all the way to the bed. He closes all the curtains and blinds in the bedroom, gathering up every candle he can find and placing them in all the corners of the room, lighting them. You can see little flames flickering all around in the reflection of the mirrors that still fill the back wall.
Finding their bluetooth speaker, he starts to play soft music something with piano and violins, and turns it down low. The sheets are freshly washed, Payu takes the top blanket and folds it down. He stands there, hands on hips, looking around, trying to see if he's forgotten anything.
Next he heads to their closet, and begins putting on his outfit. Checking his phone every 5 seconds, still nothing from Rain. He said he would text once he was on his way in the taxi.
At 4:10pm he gets a text
Should be home around 4:45, maybe?, I miss you so much
I'm here waiting for you Rainy, I miss you too
Rain pulled up to the house at 4:40, the driver helped him get his luggage from the trunk. He thought Payu would be waiting for him outside, but he's nowhere. Rolling his suitcase up the stairs, he opens the big glass door, and before him is what looks like thousands of rose petals making a path all the way up the stairs, abandoning his suitcase he follows the trail of flowers, up the stairs to the closed bedroom door. What he saw when he opened that door will remain a favorite memory forever. Standing near the bed was his 6 foot tall boyfriend in a blue and black police uniform, tight navy blue slacks with a black stripe adorning the sides and a button up matching shirt tucked into those well fitting pants, with a badge and hat to complete the look, his now long hair tied in a low ponytail.
Before Rain can take in the rest of his surroundings he bolts to Payu in a full sprint, jumping up to wrap his legs around Payu's waist.
"ooooofff..Oh Hi" Payu gets the wind nearly knocked out of him.
"I missed you so much P'" Kissing Payu hard, sticking his tongue in his mouth for an aggressive needy kiss.
"Woah, take it easy baby, I missed you too, but there's no rush" Payu laughs kissing Rain on the forehead
Jumping down Rain twirls around taking the whole scene in. Rose petals everywhere, some even on the end of the bed, candles illuminate the dim room.
"Oh wow P' this is incredible"
"Do you like it?"
"It's amazing, this is all for me?" Rains feels overwhelmed with emotions
"Of course it is, I wanted your homecoming to be special"
"Thanks" Rain blushed lowering his head
"So.... I'm going to have to ask you to take your shirt off sir?" Payu says in a booming deep voice
