I jumped back, eyes wide open. Everything I imagined that wasn't going to happen, happened. His lips came in contact with mine, his eyes shed tears - the kiss was meaningful. I stood there, backing up into the wall in disbelief.

"W-what?" I finally managed to say, my face red from the sudden contact.  Thomas smiled at me brightly, and began to walk over to me.

"Gary, I love you...." Thomas said to me, as he held his arms around me in a way that I couldn't get out. The only thing I could manage to do was shook my head 'no' . My best friend confessing his love to me was the last thing on my "To-Do List" today.

"You're, you're playing with me again...." I said softly, having this man tower over me made me feel so small - I just looked down and prayed he wouldn't hit me. Thomas did something I totally didn't expect, I felt him kiss my forehead, naturally - I blushed.

"I loved you, since our senior year of high school.....I never knew how to tell you, but I just...I finally told you. I couldn't stand that ex of yours. He knew I had feelings for you....." Thomas said, sitting back down. I stood there, in shock, I never knew he even knew I even had a boyfriend senior year, it was quick thing - meaningless.

"..." I was completely silent, I had no idea what was right or wrong to say. Thomas chuckled as he looked into my eyes with a sad look I've never seen across his face.

"I understand, if my feelings aren't return. I'll, I'll be at the pond where we spent our summer at when we we're 17." Thomas said, walking to the pond, which was behind our favortive forest growing up as children, we went there nearly everyday after school. Beautiful & Green with animals all around.

I sat there on the sofa in complete shock, re-thinking everything; what just happened, how I felt about him, when we younger did I really have a thing for him, etc.. Little after an hour, I found himself going through the forest searching for my tall friend. I stepped out of the trees, and saw the crystal blue pond, but no Thomas.

"Come to reject me?" Thomas said, whispering into my ear from behind, making me jump. I turn towards him as he I saw he towered over me.

"Thomas!....No. I didn't come to reject you." I said, blushing at my tall friend. Looking at him and keep a straight face has always been a challenge for me, there wasn't a moment in Thomas's life where he wasn't handsome. Thomas smiled at me again.

"I don't want a pity date either." He said slowly. I shook my head 'no' I slowly went up to Thomas, and kissed him. Thomas wrapped his arms around me, I slide my tounge, across his teeth.

As if asking for permission to enter his mouth, he gladly opened his mouth, as our tounges started to fight each other. We kissed, standing there for what seemed like hours - I then heard something crackle from behind us.

I slowly broke the kiss and looked around to see who was near, Thomas quickly caught on that I heard something and tighten his grip around me protecting me. An over weight local police officer we both knew too well.

Chef Honnda was an openly homophobia and spent all his time hunting homosexuals doing "naughty acts". He framed quite a lot also, this cop was hateful.

"Hey fags! Put your hands up!" The local police chef, Chef Honnda yelled, pointing a gun at both Thomas, and me - we both knew to well that Chef Honnda would kill any gay man or woman on the spot, and get away with it. Thomas & I both put our hands up, giving Honnda our full attention.

"We're just on our way home sir." I said quickly, trying to make a story other then that we're gay lovers!

"Never heard of someone walking home while their eating their buddies face off!" The Chef yelled at me, I blushed because of what he said was true.

"Jesus, how long did you stand there? Must of enjoyed the show." Thomas smartly said, smirking at the cop. Chef Honnda's face went red this time because of Thomas's comment.

"That's it, I'm done with you fags!" The Chef yelled again, coming towards us closer.

"You can't arrest us for kissing!" Thomas yelled out. Chef Honnda smirked.

"Never said anything about being arrest." Chef said.

A shot was fired.
