Chapter 3

Eins pov:

Ugh... I just want to sleep... My whole body throbs... But I told Pierce I would meet him and to be truthful... I would much rather do that than go to math class....

Dad was pissed last night... so it was really rough. This morning was difficult. I spent an entire hour trying to make the bruises unrecognizable. I think it looks okay...

I reach the restroom, what does pierce even want to do? Just hang out in the bathroom?-

I open the door and see pierce sitting on the sink-

Pierces pov:

Eins here.... I've been thinking of what to say- I'm pretty sure i have an idea now...

I motion Ein to sit next to me. He complies and once he's situated, I start...

"Ein? Can you do me a favor?" I ask him, he glares at me.

"No." He answers, I pull out my phone and play that time when he said he would owe me.

"....okay, fine. What's the favor?" He asks annoyed.

"So uhh.... You know Marianna?... She like, has a major crush on me-" I say, his eyes widen.

"Ooh? You know I'm not good at like relationships, you may wanna ask Aphmau-" he starts but I interrupted him.

"I don't like her. I've told her this, she still tries though and it's making me uncomfortable."

Ein is dumbfounded.

"Oh- okay?" He says to me.

"So.... I have one last option I can try... and it involves your favor." I say, he looks at me curiously.

"Can we, pretend to be together? In a relationship?" I ask and he physically looks shocked.

"What- we are both boys-" he starts again but I interrupt.

"Exactly! So then she'll leave me alone cause she thinks I'm gay! It's perfect!"

He seems awkward but nods.

"I-it's just fake though.... You know I like Aphmau... Maybe I can get her to be jealous?..." he says to me.

I smile then say, "Yeah! So it will benefit both of us! So... what do you say?..."

He hesitates but replies, "sure...."

My smile widens and I leap down from the sink.

"Let's go my quote and quote boyfriend" I say heading towards the bathroom exit.

He seems to struggle a bit to get to me, he manages eventually. We head to our next class.

Later....

Finally, our last class.... Marianna and Ein are both in this one... So our plan commences.
I enter the room and sit at my desk, she instantly notices me.

"Hey pierce~!" She says walking over to me.... God here it goes.... Keep calm, you got this!

"Hey." I reply, smiling as usual. She visually blushes. I want to vomit.

"How have your classes been?... You weren't to lonely without me, we're you?" She says.

"Uh, I have a lover now! So that's been cool!" I spout out. She looks a bit down by that.

"Oh? Bet she won't last long. What her name?" She asks, clearly a bit jealous.

"His name." I correct her, I live for the visual confusion that spreads across her face.

Ein walks in.

"Uh- Ein! Come here!" I quickly say, gaining his attention.

He comes over. "Hey uh- babes? " he says awkwardly.

Marianna is frozen in confusion and I can't help but smile.

" Love? How are you feeling?" I say feeling the need to laugh.... Thank god I took acting class for 4 years.

Ein didn't seem to be ready for what I asked him, he turns slightly red. Probably out of embarrassment.

He stammers out, "g-good!"

Then our teacher comes in. We sit down and pay attention.

I want a good grade in this class.
