That was the only sound that was heard throughout the deserted forest landscape. There was no talking, no wind, no arguing. It was just silent, just how Scythe liked it. Sure the banter and somewhat playful arguing was soothing in a..weird way, but it was nothing like the calm and quiet. The only reason they were all so quiet, was because none of them really recharged the night before, so without any good stasis to keep them in a usually energetic mood, it was just quiet.

Why was this bothering Scythe? She loved the peace and quiet, but the two mechs behind her were never this quiet. In fact, Scythe was now wondering what she could do to make them talk, just like she did the night before.

(Flashback peeps, just a short-ish one.)

"So, why are you still up? I thought I was keeping watch?" Scythe still had a small blush residing on her faceplates, but she was quick to somewhat regain her usual composure.

"Well, Ah just, on edge Ah guess. I'm still not used teh this ol' planet yet." Cross looked out over the clearing field, alive with fireflies and stars. Soon though his more blue optics landed on her light blue ones. "Ah um, Me n' Drift both thank ya for keep'n watch. Helps out a lot"

Scythe could only chuckle in response, looking to the field for a second as well, moving her weapon to her side as she looked back too the green mech.

"I mean, it's the least I could do, you both have helped me so much, I'm just glad to help out in any way I can." Scythe had a small, side smile plastered on her dermas, a look of slight peace in her optics.

"I'm sorry if we're borin' sometime. Not use teh havin' another bot aroun', but I'm glad ya help'n out." Cross smiled back, standing back up in all his tall glory.

"Ah best be tryin teh get some rest, I'm sure tomorrow will be an long day. Thanks again'."

Scythe simply nodded, saying a small goodbye as he turned away with a "Night.", back at her. She smiled, looking out to the field again, turning all the way back around to face it, and continue her scouting.

Scythe, having enough of their quietness, spun on her heel to face them, somehow managing to slightly startle Crosshairs, which made Scythe snicker at him.

"Oh ye, laugh it up femme. Your so big n' bad." Cross had an unamused look, which only made Scythe begin to giggle at him. She could see the small smirk residing on Drift's golden faceplates.

"Sorry, sorry, just, even if you are tired, I just wanted some sort of noise. You're too quiet, it's odd." Scythe at this point was walking backwards till she came to a complete halt in front of Crosshairs. She knew it wasn't just because he was tired, it was probably more because he didn't fully trust her yet, which was understandable. I mean, if you knew what she did to thousands on thousands of bots, I think you would be iffy on trusting her as well.

"I'm sure ye did, we should rest. Got a long way teh go. Have a feelin' we should go away from any'h human, nor cyber activity." Cross tapped his pede on the ground slightly, mainly to add emphasis, but also in a slightly annoyed way. Scythe simply smiled and turned around.

"Mmm, so where then? I'm sure there's human activity everywhere at this point, the planets infested with the bugs." Scythe quipped, moving some branches out of her face before grunting as it swung back at her. Cross laughed of course, but a voice spoke up that made him turn his attention to the voice.

"We could always hide in our alt modes. Y'know, lay low?" Drift had spoken up, not expecting both bots to turn to him. Cross seemed completely against the idea, Scythe just shrugged. She wasn't against the idea, but at the same time it was risky. Though soon they wouldn't have a choice.

It had been a long day, just like Crosshairs had predicted the night before. Tonight Cross was on watch, which probably wasn't the best idea since he was still due a recharge. It was hard to convince such a stubborn mech though, even Drift couldn't reason with him. Speaking of Drift, he was currently talking with Scythe. Drift trusted Scythe a lot more than Crosshairs did, which was understandable. Cross hadn't known Scythe like Drift had, it was something you just had to be there for.

"So, what made you think of that idea? Hiding as our alts?" Scythe was looking through the dense trees, not really focusing on anything in the midst of them, but admiring how old and tall they looked. When she was done, she turned her helm back to Drift, who was just starting to speak.

"Well, it's a better way to blend in. There's not a lot of places we can go in the state we are as of now." Scythe nodded her head in agreement, looking to the ground now.

"You have a point, but where would we even hide?" Scythe hadn't looked back up, she was focused on something in the dirt, it was somewhat shiny in a way.

"There's these big lots the humans have that are full of cars. We could blend easily there." Drift was looking at her now, not used to talking with her. Why did he feel like the area was a tad bit hotter now?

"Mmm, that's actually a good idea, maybe even perfe-" Scythe had quickly looked back up at the sounds of engines roaring, she looked to Drift, panic in her optics. Drift only stood and went to get Cross. Scythe looked back to the shiny thing, noticing it was blinking. "Frag, that's a tracker isn't it? We must've not been the first bots here." Scythe's thoughts again had been interrupted as Cross and Drift came back out of the forestry, no one really had a plan, but Scythe decided to speak up, her mouth guard sliding into its place over the lower half of her faceplates.

"You both go, I'll lead them away."

"Are ye crazy femme? They'll slaughter ya!" Cross had looked directly at her, sure he was nervous at the situation but now that he realized that she wasn't joking, nor was she backing down, he shook his helm, moving to get Drift out of the area, and himself. They both took a small glance back at her as they transformed and hauled ass out of the area.

Now it was just Scythe, who began the other way, now noting that they were following her. She vented in relief, as well to regulate her increasing temperature. She kept running at a steady pace, the only sound being her pedes and the roars of engines. She couldn't tell if it was cybers, or humans, in fact it was confusing her, which only made the situation more dire.

Well, she was confused, till she heard mechanical shifting and then a blast hit the tree she had just passed. Well now she was a little less confused, but the last thing she was wondering, is if it was bot, or con. She gave up pondering as she darted, shifting to her alt mode as she hauled herself away.

Scythe had been on edge ever since, even if she had driven miles away and to Texas, it was about four Am now, and Scythe had snuck into a dealership, hoping no one would notice as she took a price tag off a truck and put it on her, she shut her engine off and sighed to herself, relaxing, and going into a long stasis.
