The next morning Rudra was awaken by the harsh sunlight shinning from the window. Tightening his arms around the sleeping beauty besides him he kissed her jaw, too sleepy to land it properly on her lips.

Anika woke up by his movements and snuggled in his chest. He grabbed her jaw and pressed his lips against hers. "Good morning Mrs. Rathore" He smiled against her lips.

"Good morning Mr. Rathore" She wished him and tried to get up when he hold her wrist and pulled her in his arms. She was only wearing his shirt while he has his sweatpants on.

"I didn't tell you that you can get up" He rose his brow questioning her as he grabbed her hand and examined her mehandi. "Where is my name?" "Wo aapko khud dhundhna parega." She told him resting her head on his shoulder.

Rudra kissed her palm where he found his name written. "Dhundh liya. Ab mujhe kya milega." He smirked. "Kya chahiye aapko?" She asked and regretted it instantly. "Shower with me?"

He pulled her wrist again when she tried to get up but loosened his hold immediately, seeing her winced. He examined her wrist and found a small gash, probably due to the breaking of her glass bangles last night. "I am so sorry." He tucked her hair behind her ear. "For what?" "For being so rough with you last night. It was your first time" He explained, kissing her forehead. "It wasn't your first time?" She asked. A sudden feeling of jealously gripped her heart when she entertained the possibility of her husband experiencing the same thing she got to feel last night. With that thought came the insecurity bubbling of not being good enough.

Rudra has told her about his previous relationships. Being the son of the MLA and CEO of a multi billon company it wasn't hard for him to attract people and with his additional looks he was the most eligible bachelor. But with pros it has its cons too. People were there with him for most likely his money and power, be it a friend or a girl friend so he stopped doing relationships and he didn't even have many friends.

How stupid of her to think his was a virgin.

Sensing her mood change, Rudra sat up leaning against the headboard and pulled her in his lap. "It was the best night of my life." He pecked her lips. "You were so great." Kissed her eyes. "And now you are all mine" Kissed her forehead, pulling her closer by her waist. "I am so fucking lucky" He kissed her cheeks and at last kissed her nose making her giggle. He hugged her close to his chest.

"Oh no" Anika suddenly exclaimed, her eyes widened when see saw the time. She  quickly gets up from the bed when her knees buckle and she falls straight on the floor.

"Fuck. Anika, you ok baby? " Rudra was quickly at her side, holding her from the armpits he carried her in his arms. She buried her face in his neck as he supported her up by his arms under her butt.

"I can't feel my legs" She mumbled nipping his neck softly.

"A hot shower sounds good ?" He suggested stroking her hair not minding whatever she was doing to his neck.

Entering the bathroom he sat her on the sink counter and grabbed the spare tooth brush from the cabinet.

Lathering it with tooth paste he handed her the brush before grabbing his own one and started brushing his teeths, looking her her trough the mirror.

Face flushed, matching the shade of the saree she was draped in, Anika finally shut her bedroom door and make her way to the living room.

The thoughts of her husband and their shared moments in the bedroom still playing in her head.

To say Rudra was clingy would be an understatement. At the end it took multiple kisses and some harmless threats for him to eventually let her go.

"Anika. Aao beta" Her mother in law called her when she saw the new bride looking lost searching for the right direction in her new home.

"Good morning Aunty" She wished, bowing down to touch her feets. "Good morning beta. God bless you" Garima began. "Aunty nahi Maa bolo bachche" She corrected and caresses her head.

"Baki sab kaha hai?" Anika inquired seeing no one in sight.

The house was full of people yesterday and some relatives were staying for a couple of days too so it was strange seeing an empty living room.

"Kal raat everyone slept late because of your wedding isliye sab so rahe hain." She explained and turned to her face. "Tum kaise itni jaldi uth gayi"

"Jaldi kaha. 8 baj rahe hai Aunt- Maa" She started but quickly corrected herself when the older lady narrowed her eyes.

It was weird to call someone 'maa' when she hasn't used it for so many years. She didn't even remember when she last called her own mother 'maa'. Probably when she was 5 before she died, leaving Anika alone in this world.

Now after 16 years, to call someone 'maa' feel a little different.

"Anika. Bachche aaj aapko puja karni hain. Come I'll show you the 'mandir'." She holds the conversation while moving in the mandir's direction. "Aur aaj to pehli rasoi bhi hain aapki. Socha hai kya banana hai." Garima quiered.

"Aap jo bhi kahe maa" She answered. "Kuch bhi bana lena beta. Tum jo bhi banaogi achcha hi hoga"
