Chapter 13

NO ONE COULD UNDERSTAND why Khallesy loved the rain so much, but it reminded her of her childhood. As a child, she danced outside in the rain even if in the end she ended up getting sick. She smiled at the thought while looking for a book to read. She looked at several shelves but not one was interesting. She took a book that finally interested her when she heard footsteps, she hid the book behind her back, while Aemond approached her with indifference, went to a shelf, put a book back in its place, and then glanced at what Khallesy had from behind her back and grabbed it.

"Hey, I haven't read that yet!" Khallesy yelled, trying to take the book in his hands, but Aemond was too big. She puffed annoyed, jumping at the book,

"I haven't read this yet either, so I will read it before you, little girl" he replied just making her more angry. She didn't accept it so she tried to take the book again but ended up with poor results. Aemond laughed at her, just making her feel worse

"Let it go, give it to me, I want to read it" she asked him tired as Aemond stroked her cheek before smiling

"And why should I? There are many other books here, why should I give you just this one, hm?" He asked her again, lowering his gaze to her lips. Aemond felt Khallesy's hand on his chest, he looked at her carefully, as she got closer and closer, she stood on tiptoe and kissed Aemond, which he did not mind at all, he took her body with one hand, placing her on the table. The book fell from his hand as he moaned, Khallesy separated from Aemond giving him a slight push, with a smile on her face.

"Thank you for the book my dear and sweet husband," she said in an amused voice as she left, Aemond watched her walk away biting his lip for being so stupid.

Khallesy laughed together with Heleana while Aegon tried to be lucid but began to get bored while eating. Everyone was there except Aemond. Alicent watched her son, Aemond enter and sit next to his sister Heleana, while on the other side there was Khallesy looking at him with a smile, making him glare at her.

"Aemond, why don't you sit next to your future bride?" Alicent asked, sipping her wine, Otto nodded along while his nephew looked at them

"I don't think there's a need, mother," he replied coldly, but Alicent's face said anything but

"No, I don't care Aemond you will sit next has her, up forward, Heleana honey sit in the place of Aemond, while he will sit next to Khallesy" She ordered, and so they did, even though Aegon had slightly laughed at their so dry faces.

Khallesy silently observed Aemond who wouldn't even look at her, 'maybe it is because of the book', she thought while she was bringing her cup to her mouth.

"So what did you all do today? You, my dear Khallesy, did you have fun?" asked Alicent drinking wine, Khallesy smiled slightly at the question

"Yes, Heleana and I had much fun today" she replied smiling at her slightly, Alicent nodded smiling while turning to look at Aemond

"Uh oh," said Aegon drinking another cup of wine with an idiot smile

"And with Aemond, how are things going?" She asked her again Alicent igniting her son under the irritated gaze of Aemond and the amused one of Aegon

Khallesy didn't know what to say but tired to find the words

"His company is very pleasant my Queen, especially in the library, very comforting" she replied with a sip of wine, whiles she could feel something on her right thigh holding her. She looked down and almost choked

"Are you all right, Khallesy?" Heleana asked her as her eyes were on her, Khallesy nodded slightly embarrassed as the others continued to eat. Khallesy looked at Aemond's hand on her thigh, as she tried to make him move, be began to try and go down further but Khallesy got up from the table leaving everyone confused, sighing slightly

"Excuse me, but I would like to go sleep my Queen, if I can.." she asked permission as she heard Aemond raise his eyes to the sky

"Of course, go ahead dear" Alicent replied gently, biting her lip as she watched her son get up in turn

"Mother I also ask permission to go," he said, Alicent didn't say anything but she nodded, she didn't really like how things were turning between her son and his future wife, but she couldn't ruin anything, not now at least

Khallesy entered her room with tired eyes but also full of desire, she couldn't decide want she wanted. She let a sigh leave her lips as she undressed putting on her robe and untying her hair leaving it on her shoulders. She sat at the desk and took a piece of paper, answering Luke's letter would be good for her, smiling cheerfully she wrote;

My dear Luke it was a pleasure for me to have received your letter, I miss you and your brother Jacerys so much too. Everything is fine at least I think, Heleana is very sweet and she makes me feel better, I would like to hug you right now but we will do it soon anyway, I love you

Smiling, she slowly closed the letter by hiding it in a drawer, as she felt the door open while an angry Aemond stormed in.

"Is it possible that you don't even know how to stand still,? Embarrassing me by getting up acting crazy will not make you look like a sweet girl" he asked her, two steps from her face, he violently grabbed her hand making her laugh slightly

"So that's what worries you, I'm embarrassing you? " replied Khallesy as Aemond looked at her irritated, letting her go as he went to change, Khallesy looked at him carefully, stopping him by the arm

"What do you want little girl?" He asked her, Khallesy stroked his face slightly while he groaned his bandage, she wondered how he was without it, but left those thoughts away by giving him a kiss on the cheek just making him confused

"Good night, Aemond" she said to him going to the bed while Aemond looked at her irritated. She was making him crazy 'that damn little girl' He thought to himself and clenching his fists

Khallesy felt Aemond's gaze on her and put herself under the covers trying to close her eyes and hoping that tomorrow morning would be a better day
