Chapter 8

The voices of two people woke me up from my slumber in the morning. It was loud as if they were arguing over something serious.

"No Gon! What if she's just faking it!?" An unknown voice says, pissed.

"I know she's not faking it by the look in her eyes, it's pure helplessness, Killua!"

Irritation fills me as I turned my head to see who this Killua person is. Rubbing my eyelids, a man who is even more muscular than the previous guy in the same room as I am made me feel like my eyes bulged out of my sockets. He had shoulder-length spiky hair and sharp blue cat-like eyes. This Killua is handsome.

"And what if she's her?"

He noticed my stare and I quickly got up. What happened? And who were these people?

"Oh looks like you're finally awake," Killua says crossing his arms over his chest.

"Where am I?" I asked as I got up from the bed, feeling a twinge of fear.

"How are you feeling miss any pain?" Gon inquired, completely ignoring my question. Worries swirled in his brown-like eyes.

"She looks fine to me and doesn't look like she broke her bones. You shouldn't be bringing in strangers." Killua gazed at the caring male.

"My name is Killua Zoldyck and this is my childhood friend Gon Freecss." Killua introduces himself and his friend.

"But you didn't answer my question! Are you feeling any pain right now?" Gon queried to know.

"Well, first I'm okay, and second...I can't seem to remember what my name is." I told them while rubbing the back of my head. I started to feel awkward with the way those two intensely stared at me.

"Hey, it's early in the morning let's eat breakfast, I'm hungry!" Gon waved his hands in front of him and then placed one of his hands on Killua's shoulder. "And then we can learn all about each other instead of accusing without a reason. Right Killua?"

"Yeah sure, right." The Zoldyck avoided eye contact with me and Gon. I just stood there as they both were near the door of the room I'm in.

"Get ready, we're gonna leave this hotel the moment you're done," Killua says before exiting with Gon, leaving me alone in the room.

After all the walking and me just looking around towns, including stores. Me, Gon, and Killua decided to stop at a small restaurant to eat since we were hungry. I didn't even eat breakfast and my stomach was empty.

I got a handful of fried rice into one spoon and then placed them inside my mouth, savoring the delicious flavor. Gon and Killua were having some sort of an eating competition as they stuffed the food in their mouths like little children. Wiping the corner of my lips with a napkin, I looked at them; waiting for them to finish their eating competition.

After they are finally done, Gon and Killua looked over at me with their face smeared with food. I gave them a disgusted face as they started to wipe their faces.

"That means I won right Killua?" He asked before Killua answered,

"No, I won."

"Can we please start talking about how I forgot who you are?" I interrupted, looking at Gon and waiting for him to speak.

"Oh yeah about that, how did you forget so easily? And do you know who you truly are?" Gon spoke while I tried to surround myself with any type of memory I might have but all I see is nothing but emptiness.

The disappointment was all I could feel myself having right now. "No, I can't seem to remember anything about my past or myself."

"Maybe you have some sort of amnesia but what doesn't make sense is that you don't recall what happened yesterday," Killua said before taking a sip from his coke, looking away from me.
