The opening ends to show Ben's room as Ben was currently seen getting ready for his first day of UA. Fixing his hair, checking his uniform, and getting his books around for the day ahead. After Ben grabbed his backpack he left his room to find Max sitting in the living room tinkering with some electronics.
Ben: I'm off to school, meeting Mina on the way.
Max: Ah, Ben. One more thing before you go.
Ben stops at the door as Max gets up and walks over and gives his grandson a big bear hug.
Max: I am so proud of you, kiddo.
Ben was surprised by the sudden embrace, but after hearing those words made him smile as he returns the hug. After a few moments they separate as Max ruffles Ben's hair as the grandson smiled.
Ben: Thank you Grandpa, see you after school!
Ben waved goodbye as he opened the door and starts running to meet Mina. As he runs by, Ben spots some newspapers and TV monitors with pictures of his forms front and center. For some reason, he felt really happy with how his live has turned around because of one simple little watch. Soon he finds Mina who was in her UA uniform as well standing on the bridge which was their favorite place to just relax.

Mina: Ben!
Ben: Hey Pinky. Did you have to wait long?
Mina picks up her backpack and happily walked over to him with a grin.
Mina: Nope! You ready to start our new high school lives?
Ben: Yep, let's get going. We wouldn't want to be late on the first day.
The two make their way to UA, along the way they spot a familiar face walking infront of them. But upon seeing him, the two share a shocked expression.
