When I saw the Chara, I died inside. The poor Chara looked traumatized, as if they'd watched their friends and family die over and over.

"See, Frisky," Mettacrit said. "This is why I hate you." Mettacrit made himself visible, and the living Chara relaxed, eyes fading from red to pale turquoise. It felt weird to see myself dead as Demon Frisk became visible. "You see other's pain, yet ignore mine."

"Quit being so dramatic," I sighed. "So why can't we? Just curious."

"If we go out there, Frisk, you'll die! Because I..."

"You what?" said the other living Frisk.

"I won't let you reset. And you'll be dead forever and ever!" Said the Chara, on the verge of tears.

"Let's just go together," I said softly. My heart hurt, and so did my head. Mettacrit glared. "Wish I could do that," he told me. But I ignored it. I didn't want to fight anymore. Didn't want to try. Demon Frisk looked at me with no emotion, then their gaze softened.

The fight was what hurt the most. The strategy worked: Chara quit. Sans and Papyrus were easy kills. And my heart was broken.

-Underswap Frisk P.O.V.-

It had worked. HR owed me. Big time. I hated this- hated killing. Hated all of it. I didn't want to be a demon anymore. I just wanted to be me, and now I was me. However, it was time for part two: the conjoined timelines. It hurt more than anything, knowing what I was going to put these guys through. Knowing that I would, once again, be the bad guy.

Knowing once again the author released a short chapter and I have no character development.

Hey!

I'm just sayin.
