"Greetings. I am Frisk." My words filled the empty space of the judgement hall. Two Frisks looked at me like I was insane. One with a chainsaw and a timid look, the other with eyes half closed and a look of hatred.
"Chara?" inquired one of them. The other looked at the ground, a look of pure malice written on their face.
"Not quite, little killer," I said, and the color drained from both their faces.
"Oh, I'm sorry! I never meant to kill any-" the weakling apologized profusely over and over again,as I laughed to myself at the irony of it all. The other seemed pale but otherwise unbothered by my words, as if they'd accepted it.
"So if you are me, and the weakling is also me, then who is the original?"
"None of us are. You come from what we like to call a 'Sideways' timeline. One that exists outside of canon, but in effect, is still the same world," I explained.
"Canon?"
"Canon never interacts with any Universe, and we never interact with them. It's an unspoken law. If you did, the multiverse would crash."
I took a deep breath. "Now, about why I've brought you here. This is a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity to kill without consequence. There is no Wizard at the end of this Yellow-Brick road, and no quest for the Wicked Witch. Welcome..."
Confusion was written on their priceless faces. "To the Hall of Infinite Judgement. Hundreds of Charas, Frisks, and Mettacrits alike have stood here to face many strange people, from Undyne to Sans, to another Frisk, to themselves. This is just one place where we can battle undisturbed. And as for how? All you need to do is take a step. They will appear. They are waiting for us. But it cannot be all three of us at once."
"So it must be all of us in the strongest vessel? Well, I'd say your vesel fits that role-" Rage filled me immediately.
"No! We will not use Chara as a vessel!" They both flinched, but the shy one nodded in agreement.
"It seems as if you have a soft spot for your Chara. That makes you weak. Worthless. If you are a demon, like my Chara, then you understand that love makes you useless. LV is what truly matters. I can't care anymore because I've lost the will to care, and I think you could be the same with a bit of prodding. So either we use your Chara, or I kill both your Chara and this useless excuse for a Frisk, we call it a day, and I take the chainsaw and heart locket, go out there, and kill all three of our royal judges with ease."
Fear filled my mind, as I knew Classic Frisk was fully capable of this feat. I had seen it with other universes of this Frisk, and many timelines filled with murderous evil. A Frisk that didn't care was a dangerous Frisk.
It was a Frisk like me. But then the quiet one, Shift, spoke up. "Chara will be difficult to kill. They have magic and can reset like us." I nodded my agreement; I'd witnesses this firsthand with Shifted human judges.
"So I stab her in the face repeatedly until they give up."
-Classic Chara's POV-
"So I stab her in the face repeatedly until they give up," Frisk said with no emotion.
"What the hell?" I cried. "Frisk, that's horrible!"
"Not any more horrible than what we do to Sans," they said coldly. "Sans is useless, and if this Chara is anything like Sans, then they are useless too."
Frisk's words struck deeper than a knife. "I thought you said I wasn't useless?" I said, my voice cracking.
"I lied. Now go away like a good Chara and let me do my job." I quietly hid in the corner of your mind, weeping silently. I thought maybe we could actually be friends... maybe more than that, but they proved why I hated and feared humanity.
"Whoever you're talking to, aren't you being a bit harsh?" The quiet one said, and I looked up from my tears, a look of hope on my face. I remember when we used to get along; used to be friends. But now?
No; now any love Frisk had for me, platonic or not, disappeared, along with their Empathy. Along with their ability to feel. And it was all my fault. They had sacrificed that for me, so I wouldn't just be a demon. I was a demon with a heart now, and they were a human without.
The moment they fell. The moment they choose my name, Chara... the moment I got life, a soul. When they helped me remember.
That was gone. Now, Frisk looked forward and said, "Chara is just getting in my way. Now stop bothering me. I have some idiots to kill."
"You can't!" I blurted at once, making myself visible, and all eyes, whether I wanted them or not, landed on me.
