I was right beside Diana when it all happened. Max had his gun and we were running. He pointed it at Diana and I reacted. Right before he pulled the trigger I jumped right in front of her, letting the bullet hit me instead of her. Then I felt it. Pain. I looked down and saw blood. The bullet hit me. Gosh how it hurt. It. Was. Terrible.
Everyone stopped and looked back when they heard the gun. Natania saw me on the ground, went up to Max and Maddison and beat them up. It was quite funny. She knocked them out in one punch. Boy was she tough. Diana came up to me, shocked. I could see her eyes start to water up.
"I'll be fine" I told her. But I didn't know if that was true. If I keep bleeding I'll loose all my blood and die.
"We got to get you back" she said.
Jacob, Daniel, Luke and Zayne picked me up and started walking towards the academy.
The pain demanded to be felt no matter how much I tried to push it down. I could feel it. I had my eyes open and saw light. I heard my voice say "don't step into the light." I didn't want to but I couldn't control that. I closed my eyes.
