Chapter 1 - "Do I....really?"

Today's another normal day in Inazuma, In this POV, the traveler, paimon, & no other than the raiden shogun, Ei were standing alongside a dango milk stand which appears to be Ei's favorite sweet. They were talking until a weird, at least for Ei, question came out to Lumine's mouth.

Lumine: "Ei, why is Miko so bold and flirtatious with you? Are you two together or something?"

Paimon: "Yeah! Paimon's curious too!"

Ei: *almost chokes on her dango milk*  "W-what do you mean? We are most certainly not! You say all this as if I am bothered by her "boldness" and "flirtatiousness." In fact, I barely pay Yae Miko any mind... which is to say, all this seems more like a "You" problem than a "Me" problem. Are you feeling... insecure?" she says, trying to keep her 'cool'.

Lumine: "Pfft, me? insecure? I'm not, I'm just curious if both of you are in a secret relationship but you can't deny anyway because it's too obvious. I know you two are dating and I support it!"

Ei: "I already told you Lumine, me and Miko are not together, it's true that we are very close — but that doesn't mean there's any romantic implication in it. I suppose you could say that Yae Miko is like my sister. Yae Miko is indeed someone special to me. In fact, it is very rare for an Archon to have someone they can consider a true confidant. And my relationship with Yae Miko is special to me for precisely that reason." she said, attempting to be as serious as she should be which kind of failed.

Ei POV:

Why did I feel guilty when I said she's like a sister to me? do I really only see her as my sister and nothing more? Oh well, it doesn't matter anyway. It's not like we're gonna be together if I do like her as more than a sister of mine..... Wait, what am I even thinking?!
