The Kujos had always been a musical family, with Holly's secret passion for singing, and with Sadao's obvious talent on the saxophone it wouldn't be any surprise for their only son to be musically inclined himself.

According to Holly ever since Jotaro was a wee toddler he would always babble along to melodies to songs, to her squealing delight. When they still used their car in a smaller town, Holly and little Jotaro would jam out to every new song out. Holly listened to things from the UK and America in addition to Japanese releases. She would introduce Jotaro to her favorite songs from her youth (The locomotion by Little Eva being a standout) Probably a huge reason why he knew as much English as he did.

After a while Holly realized her little boy was quite talented with his voice. Everytime he got into a song he put his heart into it and Holly would scream about how "My baby's so talented!!" he would bashfully go back to singing in a murmur and look out the window. Holly was really just so proud. She asked him again and again if he wanted to get voice lessons but he silently turned them down everytime. Holly then realized it was *their* thing, her son only sang around her and she began cherishing those moments 10x more. But then.. Something changed. Sadao came back from another flopped tour and Jotaro and Holly began singing a song they both enjoyed, but Sadao.. He was upset? Jealous? Holly was confused, she thought it was wonderful. He yelled at Jotaro to be quiet, that he was tired and that was being too loud. But it read as Sadao was upset that Jotaro was confident in his musicality. Jotaro immediately shut down, Holly scolded Sadao quietly but.. Jotaro didn't sing much after that. At least he didn't around other people. There have been so many times Holly has heard him hit a note through their thin doors, or him play guitar and hum a tune. Her musical baby was still there, just in hiding.

Holly came back home early from an outing with her housewife friends, feeling lightheaded or whatever the sort. When she walked in quietly she heard the most beautiful, full tenor vocal. It almost sounded like.. Jotaro? He was in the kitchen singing along with a Wham! song but he made it his own, it sounded beautiful. Holly's face was almost splitting from how happy she was. Ever since Jotaro's voice dropped she hadn't really heard him sing anymore she woefully thought maybe he had lost his ability? But obviously not, he was better than ever. He finished the song that was on the radio and Holly bursted out,

"Bravo, Jotaro! You sounded wonderful!" The raven-haired boy jumped and turned around.

"Good grief, woman. If I was 10 years older you could've gave me a heart attack" But as only Holly could notice, her boy was slightly smiling.
